UNIVERSAL STRUT FOR DOORS AND WINDOW ELEMENTS, APPARATUS, SYSTEM, AND A METHOD THEREOF
The present invention relates generally to a universal strut for doors and window elements. More particularly, the invention encompasses a universal strut that mates with a first formed member, and a second formed member, and which assembly is used as windows, doors, window frames, and door frames. The invention also provides a method of using the inventive universal strut for applications that require different widths and lengths for a production or customized window, door, window frame, or door frame. The universal strut can also be used as a thermal barrier between the first formed member, and the second formed member. Preferably, the universal strut is made from a non-metallic or thermal barrier material, while the first formed substrate, and the second formed substrate are preferably made from a metallic material. The universal strut allows for the formation of various configurations for the shapes of window and/or door elements.
WINDOW ASSEMBLY AND FITTING THEREFOR
A window frame assembly includes a pair of identical half-frames that can be reversed to mate with each other, with glazing trapped between them. The half-frames are unitary plastic moldings. They include respective arrays of securement fittings that include both male and female fittings. The half-frames have a primary mold opening and closing direction. The securement fittings are formed with transversely moving mold inserts that form the interlocking barbed one-way engagement profiles of the securement fittings. The frames include externally facing surfaces that are free of external fastening hardware. The molded half-frames have abutment stops the prevent over-engagement. They also have window bezels that for a flange relative to the external fascia profile. There is a separate internal peripheral wall stem, to which the male and female fittings abut.
Wall element for a curtain wall with a compartment for a wing and a sealing element
A sealing to seal a wall element with a fixed frame having mullions and transoms with perpendicular ends with which the transoms are attached between the mullions. The fixed frame is fitted with at least one compartment with a rebate for a frame part with an infill element to create a wing that opens, or to replace a damaged infill element, where the seal is intended to create a windproof and watertight connection between the mullions and transoms in the corners of an aforementioned compartment, where the seal is made as a corner piece that is formed and sized such that, on the level of the corners to be sealed, it fits in the form of the rebate in the mullion and transom in question and overlaps and covers the connection between this mullion and transom at the level of the rebate.
Fenestration assembly
A fenestration assembly includes a frame assembly, and a sash assembly. The frame assembly includes at least one each unitary frame member formed from a first sheet of material. The sash assembly including at least one unitary member being formed from a second single sheet of material.
Structural element for securing glass partitions
Disclosed is a structural element for securing glass screens, which is formed by: a metal support profile in which is located a seating zone of the glass, the end of the profile including a vertical rib preceded by a rectangular groove and a second V groove; a closing metal profile including an L-shaped protrusion that can be coupled to the vertical rib, the end of the projection being inserted into the rectangular groove and a V rib that sits in the V groove; and an elastic profile in T whose having a vertical section formed by two or more parallel walls through which pass two or more inclined planes that protrude through the sides.
Vertical door system with ball screw drive
A vertical door system includes: a door having a door frame, the door frame having at least one frame section; an operator; two vertical supports configured to: (a) be installable on opposite sides of the door opening and (b) support the vertical door, at least one of the vertical supports having: a guide track on a surface of the vertical support facing toward the door opening; and a drive system having: an elongated threaded rod drivable by the operator via a gearing arranged between the operator and the threaded rod; and one or more blocks, each block comprising a guide track connecting portion that connects to a guide track so the connected block is freely movable along the guide track, each block having a through-bore for accepting the threaded rod so that the block is positioned on the threaded rod and is movable along the threaded rod.
