The present disclosure relates generally to acoustic panels, for example, suitable for acoustic ceiling surfaces. The present disclosure relates more particularly to acoustic panels that include a panel body (e.g., comprising fiberglass, or having an NRC value in the range of at least 0.5, e.g., 0.5-0.95 or 0.5-0.9) and a perimeter frame extending around a side edge of the panel body. The perimeter frame includes a plurality of frame members including a first frame member and a second frame member. A first adhesive bonds the frame members to the panel body. A second adhesive with a shorter working time may also bond the frame members to the panel body. In addition, or alternatively, a bracket that couples the frame members to one another includes a sharp projection that hinders removal of the bracket from the frame members once assembled. These aspects allow the acoustic panel to be handled before the first adhesive is cured.

The indentation and efficient angular connection of the hollow profile members is enhanced through: a) forming of the sharp edges of the sheet metal to align an aberrant edge thereof in an indentation appropriate direction, b) appropriately orienting the sheet metal portion (1, 1) to comply with a set of predetermined geometrical parameters and c) selectively employing varying embodiments of the slide base portion to obtain rapprochement of the points of indentation of the walls being indented.

A window frame assembly can include a plurality of frame members, wherein at least one of the frame members comprises a first profile frame member and at least one of the other frame members comprises a second profile frame member. The at least one first profile frame member and the at least one second profile frame member seat together to form the frame assembly. Head and side jamb members of a window frame can have a common first profile, and a sill jamb member can have a second profile. The frame members can be connected with corner keys configured to engage one or more openings in the first and second profiles. The sill jamb member can provide a sill slope angle.

The present invention relates a corner assembly for use in a structural frame, said corner assembly comprises a housing defining a first and a second groove arranged at a predetermined angle to each other, and wherein the first groove is arranged for telescopically receiving and/or displacing a first elongated structural element and the second groove is arranged for telescopically receiving and/or displacing a second elongated structural element, and wherein the corner assembly further comprises a first and a second locking mechanisms arranged for independently of each other releasably fastening the first and second elongated structural element in the corresponding first and second groove. Since both the first and second locking mechanism is arranged for individually securing/fastening an elongated structural element to the corner assembly, the telescopic extension/displacement of each elongated structural element can be individually and independently adjusted irrespectively of the extension/displacement of the other elongated structural element.
