The door has a hinged edge or end, and non-hinged edges or ends including a top, bottom and a remote edge. The opening has a planar space defined by the door jamb and is adapted to be closed by the door in a closed position. A hinge axis of the hinge arrangement is adapted, near or adjacent the closed position, to move laterally relative to one or both of the door or the door jamb. The hinge axis of the hinge arrangement is adapted, near or adjacent the closed position, to move at least a door portion of two adjacent edges of the door relative to corresponding and adjacent jamb portions of an edge of the door jamb between overlapping and non-overlapping positions. The door is adapted to move vertically relative to the door jamb.

The depth of the main body militates against a prying of the door with a crowbar where the main body is installed on the door.

The characterising feature is that the mesh has cut and punched indentations which abut against the reinforced lip within the plastic insulator to prevent the mesh being withdrawn from the frame once the retaining wedge is in place.

The at least one latch assembly is hingedly connected to the at least one track assembly. The at least one actuator is connected adjacent to the mounting frame. The at least one actuator is operatively engaged to the at least one track assembly, where the at least one actuator is configured to move the at least one track assembly in a locked configuration and an unlocked configuration. The processing unit is electronically connected to the at least one actuator.

Security door system

A security door system includes a door frame, a door, and an astragal. The door frame has first and second vertically extending side members that define an opening therebetween. The door is disposed within the opening and is secured to the frame via a hinged connection along the first vertically extending side member. A gap is defined between an edge of the door, that is opposite the hinged connection, and the second vertically extending side member when the door is in a closed position. The astragal has first and second plates that are secured to an outer surface of the door. The first plate extends beyond the edge such that the first plate covers the gap when the door is in the closed position. The second plate extends from the first plate in a direction away from the edge and toward the hinged connection.
