RESIN COMPOSITION
This invention relates to a resin composition comprising a resin component in an amount of 100 parts by weight, thermally expandable graphite in an amount of 3 to 300 parts by weight, and an inorganic filler in an amount of 2 to 200 parts by weight, wherein the expansion starting temperature of the thermally expandable graphite is lower than the decomposition starting temperature of the resin component.
PATCH FITTING
A patch fitting for a fire-retardant glass door is disclosed herein. The patch fitting comprises a support sandwiched between a first layer of fire retardant material on a first side of the support and a second layer of fire retardant material on an opposing second side of the support. The support comprises a first attachment means for attaching to a first pane of glass of the fire-retardant glass door on the first side of the support, and a second attachment means for attaching to a second pane of glass of the first-retardant glass door on the opposing second side of the support. The patch fitting is configured, in use, to be at least partially sandwiched between the two layers of glass of the firm-retardant glass door.
Emergency entry-way system
An emergency entryway system that provides for the detection of occupants in a room, fires outside of a door, and sealing the entryway during a fire emergency is disclosed. The emergency entryway system includes a door enclosed by a door frame, at least one display unit mounted in one side of door and at least one camera mounted in the door frame on the opposite side of the door, whereby the display unit in the door displays an image transmitted from the camera from the other side of the door frame and door. The door frame of the emergency entryway system may include at least one of a smoke detector, a carbon monoxide detector, or a radon detector, at least one fire extinguisher, an oxygen sensor, an alarm, a gas inflator canister, and an inflatable tubing configured to seal a space between the door and the door frame during a fire emergency.
BLOOD-FREE DIET FOR REARING MALARIA MOSQUITO VECTORS
The present invention relates to blood-free-diets for malaria mosquito vectors that support ovarian development, egg maturation and fertility, as well as low progeny larval mortality, and normal development of offspring into adult mosquitoes.
The formulated diets comprise supplements of physiological concentrations of several different human GPCR ligands and shown to be an effective artificial meal, free of blood that mimics a vertebrate blood meal and represents an important advance for the sustainability of Anopheles mosquito rearing in captivity.
The present invention is in the domain of genetic engineering, parasitology, entomology medicine, pharmaceuticals and diagnose.
Fire rated door
A fire rated door includes a core, a first decorative panel and a second decorative panel. The core includes: (a) a gypsum-based fire resistant center panel having a bottom, a top, a first side, a second side, a first end and a second end, wherein the gypsum-based fire resistant center panel is made of a first gypsum-based fire resistant material, and (b) an extruded gypsum-based fire resistant border attached to the first side, the second side, the first end and the second end of the gypsum-based fire resistant center panel, wherein the extruded gypsum-based fire resistant border is made of a second gypsum-based fire resistant material having a higher density than the first gypsum-based fire resistant material. The first decorative panel is attached to the top of the gypsum-based fire resistant center panel and the extruded gypsum-based fire resistant border. The second decorative panel is attached to the bottom of the gypsum-based fire resistant center panel and the extruded gypsum-based fire resistant border.
Door, window, or facade element and fitting arrangement for such an element
A window, door, or facade element includes an outer frame composed of out frame bars and a leaf frame composed of leaf frame bars. One or more of the outer frame bars and/or of the leaf frame bars has/have at least the following features: a base profile, on which two fastening grooves that are open in the same direction are formed for fixing a corresponding fastener of a fitting arrangement, which bridges the intermediate space between the fastening grooves. The two fastening grooves have at least one latch for at least one counterpart latch, which can be attached without tools, of a fitting part arrangement. The fitting arrangement has a functional fitting on a fitting plate and at least one support element for supporting the fitting. The support element is designed for direct or indirect latching in the fastening grooves by means of the counterpart latch.
Swinging type fire door
A swinging type fire door includes a frame having opposite top and bottom walls and opposite first and second side walls each extending from the top wall to the bottom wall. A first tube is coupled to the top wall. A second tube is coupled to the bottom wall. An inner wall has a first end coupled to the first tube and a second end coupled to the second tube. A filler material is positioned between the inner wall and at least one of the side walls.
Main-frame bar and/or wing-frame bar, and door, window, or façade element
A main-frame bar and/or to a wing-frame bar for a main frame and/or a wing frame of a window, of a door, or of a faade element includes a main profiled element having a substantially U-shaped cross-section in single- or multi-piece design, which has, as viewed in a cross-section, a short leg, a long leg, and a transverse leg formed therebetween. A free intermediate space is formed between the ends of the short leg and of the long leg facing away from the transverse leg, a cover element and/or a fitting part extending over the intermediate space at least in some sections. The short leg and the long leg of the main profiled element have multi-function contours on the inner sides thereof facing each other, which multi-function contours completely or partially bound at least the following groove: in each case, a fastening groove open in the same direction on the side facing away from the transverse leg for fastening a corresponding fastening means of the fitting part or of the cover element.
