Fire rated door
A closure may include a door configured to seal an opening. The door may include a section with an internal cavity. The closure may also include a core within a first portion of the internal cavity of the section. The core may be configured to expand from a relaxed state to an expanded state and provide a seal between the door and an edge of the opening when the core is in the expanded state.
Customizable window system for coastal weather protection
A window system for use in windows, sliding glass doors, skylights, casement windows and other openings in a building. The window system enables different windows of the same building to be individually customized for different impacts of coastal area weather and security concerns and also have the same external appearance despite employing various window protection steps. Panels, interior or exterior, are secured to the header and sill. Windows may be covered with exterior panels or include interior panels or impact resistant glass when the window is high on the building, or where security is a concern Windows including casement windows and other building penetrations may also accommodate interior panels, in combination with exterior protection. The window framing may have a uniform exterior appearance, notwithstanding different levels of protection.
Tube-shaped incombustible fabric fire door gasket having foamed member inserted therein
A gasket comprises a tube body which is inserted into a groove of a fire door frame so as to block the movement of flames between a door and the door frame if a fire breaks out, and which has a joint part formed by rolling, in a tube shape, and adhering a ductile gasket cloth produced by coating, with flame-retardant or incombustible silicon, a fiber cloth manufactured by weaving the glass fibers, and a core body inserted into a hollow portion of the tube body so as to be foamed in a second foaming temperature condition if a fire breaks out, wherein the core body is formed so as to be expanded toward the outer side of the tube body while separating the joint part of the tube body by means of expansion pressure generated by foaming.
Fire-stopping product
A fire-stopping material for use in sandwich panels is provided, wherein the fire-stopping material comprises a resilient, porous material at least partially impregnated with an intumescent agent. A panel for an internal wall and an internal wall are also provided, comprising the fire-stopping material disposed between two substantially parallel boards, such as plaster boards. A method of providing a service penetration through an internal wall is also provided.
FIRE-STOPPING PRODUCT
A fire-stopping material in a panel for an interior building wall is provided. The fire-stopping material includes a resilient, porous material at least partially impregnated with an intumescent agent.
System and method for rectifying excessive clearances of door assemblies
Systems and methods for rectifying excessive bottom or head clearances of door assemblies are disclosed. An example system may comprise a door cap straight component installed on a first side of a fire door; a door cap L-shaped component installed on a second opposite side of the fire door; at least one intumescent strip seal fitted with the door cap L-shaped component; and end caps installed on two narrow ends of the fire door.
RESIN COMPOSITION
This invention relates to a resin composition comprising a resin component in an amount of 100 parts by weight, thermally expandable graphite in an amount of 3 to 300 parts by weight, and an inorganic filler in an amount of 2 to 200 parts by weight, wherein the expansion starting temperature of the thermally expandable graphite is lower than the decomposition starting temperature of the resin component.

ROLLER SHUTTER
A roller shutter includes a chamber with an opening, a roller curtain movable between being fully contained within the chamber and extended beyond the chamber through the opening, and at least one guide rail along and relative to which said roller curtain is movable between being retracted and extended, wherein the roller curtain includes a plurality of slat members interlocked with each other for relative pivotal movement, the plurality of slat members collectively forming first and second major surfaces, and a first layer of fire-resistant and/or heat-resistant fabric fixedly mounted to the first major surface of the slat members and a second layer of fire-resistant and/or heat-resistant fabric fixedly mounted to the second major surface of the slat members, and wherein the guide rail includes at least a first sealing member which, when the roller curtain is extended, contacts or presses into the first layer of fire-resistant and/or heat-resistant fabric.
TUBE-SHAPED INCOMBUSTIBLE FABRIC FIRE DOOR GASKET HAVING FOAMED MEMBER INSERTED THEREIN
The present invention relates to a fabric fire door gasket having an adhesive part formed by coating, with flame-retardant silicon, a cloth woven from glass fibers and rolling same in a tube shape, the gasket comprising: a tube body which is inserted into a groove of a fire door frame so as to block the movement of flames between a door and the door frame if a fire breaks out, and which has a joint part formed by rolling, in a tube shape, and adhering a ductile gasket cloth produced by coating, with flame-retardant or incombustible silicon, a fiber cloth manufactured by weaving the glass fibers; and a core body inserted into a hollow portion of the tube body so as to be foamed in a second foaming temperature condition if a fire breaks out, wherein the core body is formed so as to be expanded toward the outer side of the tube body while separating the joint part of the tube body by means of expansion pressure generated by foaming.
