WEATHERSTRIP CARRIER THAT REMOVABLY ATTACHES TO FENESTRATION UNIT
A weatherstrip carrier of a replaceable weatherstrip system for a fenestration unit includes a weatherstrip support configured to hold a weatherstrip. The weatherstrip carrier also includes a coupling member that is attached to the weatherstrip support. The coupling member is configured to removably attach to the fenestration unit. The coupling member includes a spine, a first projection, and a second projection. The first and second projections project from the spine in a common direction. The coupling member is resiliently flexible for movement between a neutral position and a flexed position. The first and second projections are biased toward each other when the weatherstrip carrier is in the flexed position. The second projection is configured to be removably received within the fenestration unit, with the weatherstrip carrier in the flexed position, and with the first and second projections cooperatively compressing against the fenestration unit to retain the weatherstrip carrier thereon.
Sound damping door
A sound damping door system having a door frame, a compression seal, a door slab, a bottom seal, and a concealed hinge assembly. The door frame includes male and female components adapted to engage each other in a rough door opening between first and second wall faces; and at least one isolation gasket adapted to be disposed between the male and female components. The compression seal is mounted to the door frame. The door slab includes an outer skin; an arched constrainment sheet inside the outer skin; a damping fill material inside the outer skin; and an acoustic insert inside the outer skin. The bottom seal is mounted to a bottom surface of the door slab such that the bottom seal is permitted to move relative to the door slab.
Door assembly for selectively interlocking opposing doors
A door assembly for selectively interlocking opposing doors each pivotably mounted at a hinge side thereof to a door frame so as to both open and close in the same direction includes a door handle assembly mounted to one door at a latch side thereof opposite the hinge side and carrying a first plurality of magnets, and another door handle assembly mounted to the other door at a latch side thereof opposite the hinge side and carrying a second plurality of magnets. The door handle assemblies are arranged relative to each other with the first and second pluralities of magnets aligned such each aligned pair of the first and second pluralities of magnets have opposite magnetic polarities, and the aligned first and second pluralities of magnets magnetically couple to each other as the door handle assemblies are brought into contact with each other.
ADJUSTABLE DOOR
A door which is adjustable in length and breadth is defined by an outer sash having a generally rectangular configuration. A hinge side of the sash nests within a U-sweep member running along its length. The U-sweep member interfaces with the sash through a step adjust adaptor secured to a hinge side member of the sash and extending along at least one of its inner and outer faces. The step adjust adaptor interfaces with the U-sweep member through a series of spaced apart detents which may be ridges and grooves to provide incremental adjustment of the breadth of the door. An L-sweeper is securable to a bottom member of the sash and is adjustable to vary a length (height) of the door.
Panel system for sliding doors or panels
A sliding door or panel system is provided. The system can have a roller assembly that is mounted onto a sill. The system can have a moveable door or panel with a blade extending from a bottom rail of the door or panel. The blade can rest on the rollers and the rollers facilitate the door or panel moving longitudinally along the sill. The sill can be installed below a top surface of a floor, making the system less visible. The system can include a brush insert that protects against debris entering the sill. The brush insert can be removed from the sill to allow access to the rollers.
WEATHER STRIPPING ASSEMBLY FOR DOORS
A weather stripping assembly is provided and includes a first backing member and a second backing member together defining a longitudinal axis, and first and second transverse directions. Each of the backing members includes a channel. The first backing member has a first alignment structure, and the second backing member has a second alignment structure. The first and second alignment structures are engageable with one another to align their channels with one another in the first and second transverse directions. A flexible seal is shaped to be held in and extend along the channels of both the first and second backing members when the at least two of the plurality of backing members are positioned with the first and second alignment structures in engagement with one another such that the channels of the first and second backing members are aligned with one another.
SOUNDPROOF DOOR SYSTEM
A soundproof door system includes a chute; a door body, where a bottom of the door body is inserted into the chute and able to slide along the chute; a first roller disposed on the bottom of the door body and supported on a bottom wall of the chute; a first soundproof plate provided with a first end connected to the door body and a second end abutting against an inner wall of the chute; a second soundproof plate provided with a third end connected to the door body and a fourth end abutting against the inner wall of the chute; and the first end and the third end are respectively located on two sides of the door body, and the second end and the fourth end are respectively located on both sides of the door body.
DOOR SEAL
A door seal for attaching to a door includes an elongated body that has a first arm for attaching to the door and a second arm pivotably coupled to the first arm. The first arm has a first connection feature, and the second arm has a second connection feature that is configured to connect to the first connection feature of the first arm. The first arm is movable relative to the second arm to a folded configuration that allows the door seal to be rolled to a coiled configuration. The second arm is movable relative to the first arm to allow the second connection feature to connect to the first connection feature such that the door seal is in an installed configuration.
Seal with rat resistant barrier
A flexible and oblong blade seal for sealing a gap between a door leaf and an adjacent surface includes A) a flexible outer material and B) a section with the sealing function (the sealing section), in which a barrier of a plurality of substantially parallel metal wires and/or narrow metal strips is embedded in the flexible outer material in such a way, that the wires and/or strips are arranged in parallel to the longitudinal direction of the seal. A method for mounting such seals and a method for producing them.
Garage door stop mould
A garage door stop mold comprises a base and a seal strip. The base mounts to a door jamb near a garage door opening. The seal strip attaches to the base. Tabs on the bottom surface of the seal strip insert into grooves extending from the base to attach the seal strip to the base. The seal strip has a door seal edge and a jamb seal edge. The door seal edge seals against a garage door when the door is closed and the jamb seal edge seals against the jamb.
