SCISSOR-TYPE GUIDE WITH SPRING BIASING AID
A scissor-type guide for guiding extension and retraction of lamellae. The scissor-type guide includes at least two scissor links, each having a first and second scissor members. The guide further includes a first rotational joint formed between the scissor members of each of the scissor links, and two second rotational joints formed between first ends of a first scissor member and a second scissor member of a first scissor link, and respective ones of second ends of a first scissor member and a second scissor member of a neighboring second scissor link. A spring member is formed between the scissor members at a first rotational joint, or between a first scissor member of the first scissor link and the first scissor member of a neighboring second scissor link at a second rotational joint.

Window shade and actuating system thereof
An actuating system for a window shade includes an axle coupling part rotatable for raising or lowering a bottom part of a window shade, an arresting part and an arrester coupling part connected with each other, the arresting part having a braking state and a release state, a clutching part carried with the arrester coupling part and movable relative to the arrester coupling part between a retracted state where the clutching part is disengaged from the axle coupling part and an extended state where the clutching part is engaged with the axle coupling part, and an actuating wheel movably linked to the clutching part, the actuating wheel being rotatable in a first direction to urge the clutching part to move from the retracted state to the extended state, and in an opposite second direction to urge the clutching part to move from the extended state to the retracted state.
LARGE-SIZED EXTERIOR AWNING DEVICE FOR HIGH-RISE BUILDING
The present invention relates to a large-sized external awning system which includes a winch provided at an upper story, a rooftop or the ground of a high-rise building, two guide wires spaced apart at a predetermined distance to be provided in parallel, a plurality of raising and lowering rods provided with wire-passing holes through which the guide wires pass such that the raising and lowering rods are raised and lowered along the guide wires, and an awning coupled to the raising and lowering rods and unfolded so as to block the sunlight when the raising and lowering rods are spaced apart from each other.
WINDOW SHADE AND ACTUATING SYSTEM THEREOF
An actuating system for a window shade includes a control module actuatable for adjusting a shading structure of the window shade. The control module includes a wand having a hollow interior, a flexible operating element extending outside the wand at a first end thereof, a handle coupled to the operating element and disposed at a second end of the wand, the handle being operable to pull the operating element for actuating the control module, and an anti-winding guard of an elongate shape, the operating element, the handle and the anti-winding guard being movable in unison relative to the wand. The anti-winding guard is configured to extend outside the wand between the handle and the second end of the wand when the handle moves away from the second end of the wand.

WINDOW SHADE AND ACTUATING SYSTEM THEREOF
An actuating system includes includes a sleeve, a braking part for applying a braking force to prevent rotation of the sleeve, a brake releasing part, an axle coupler and an engaging part. The brake releasing part is operable to cause the braking part to release the braking force for rotation of the sleeve. The axle coupler is disposed through the sleeve, and is rotatable for raising and lowering a movable rail of a window shade. The engaging part is disposed between and can be in rolling contact with the axle coupler and the sleeve. The engaging part has a coupling position with respect to the axle coupler where the sleeve and the axle coupler are locked to each other in a first direction of rotation, and is movable away from the coupling position for rotation of the axle coupler relative to the sleeve in a second direction of rotation.
SYSTEM FOR CLOSING AN OPENING
The invention relates to a system (1′) for closing an opening (2), the system (1′) comprising a scissor-type guide (20) comprising a fixed first end (20′) and a free, second end (20″); a tilt bracket (70) arranged spaced apart from the first end (20′) at a fixed distance in a first direction (D.sub.1) a plurality of lamellae (30), each lamella (30) having an elongate plate shape extending in a second direction (D.sub.2) the lamellae (30) being guidable between a retracted position, and an extended position; a conveyor (40) a tilt rail (60) for tilting said lamella (30) between an open state and a closed state; a tilt lever (80) connected to said free, second end (20″) of the scissor-type lamella guide (20), to the tilt rail (60) and to the conveyor (40);
