The present disclosure relates to a roman shade curtain which can improve a curtain atmosphere and the interior of a house by folding or unfolding the curtain in a stepwise manner like a lace. The roman shade curtain can be easily folded or unfolded in a stepwise manner by adopting a combination of rods and rings as a means for corrugating the middle of the curtain, so that the roman shade curtain may have a simple structure, be easily manufactured, and have excellent durability and improve the appearance of the curtain by arranging rods, rings, and the like on the rear surface of the curtain as well as wires for curtain operation.

A free hanging safety bead chain tension device includes a clutch, a bead chain for controlling ascending/descending of a roller shade, a tension rod and more than one restriction seats. The bead chain is connected with the tension rod and the restriction seats are disposed on the rod body of the tension rod. Each restriction seat has one or more restriction tunnels for locating the bead chain adjacent to the tension rod. When pulling the bead chain to control the ascending/descending of the roller shade, the bead chain is positioned by the tension rod and the restriction seats. Accordingly, not only the bead chain can be still smoothly pulled, but also the bead chain is prevented from being pulled out by a space sufficient to twist around a neck. Therefore, a child is prevented from pulling the bead chain to twist the bead chain around the child's neck so that a safety effect is achieved.

A protector for a cord or chain of a window treatment is disclosed. The protector includes a control tube having an interior cavity for receiving the cord or chain, a first open end, a second open end, and a closable opening for accessing the cord or chain. In operation, the chain or cord is fed around a pulley positioned within the interior cavity of the control tube. The pulley is rotatable about a shaft insertable through at least one pair of openings in the control tube proximate the first or second open end. A corresponding method of protecting a cord or chain of a window treatment is also disclosed.

A protector for a cord or chain of a window treatment is disclosed. The protector includes a control tube having an interior cavity for receiving the cord or chain, a first open end, a second open end, and a closable opening for accessing the cord or chain. In operation, the chain or cord is fed around a pulley positioned within the interior cavity of the control tube. The pulley is rotatable about a shaft insertable through at least one pair of openings in the control tube proximate the first or second open end. A corresponding method of protecting a cord or chain of a window treatment is also disclosed.

A simple two-piece easily and inexpensively manufactured cord tightening device and method thereof, the device comprising: a base, cylindrical in form with walls, an interior bottom having ridges, a hollow central column, and a protrusion in the walls with an opening, the protrusion; and a handle, fashioned in the shape of a spool, with a top flange with at least one hole therein, central cylindrical cavity, and bottom flange with ridges on the bottom. The cord tightening device wherein the central cylindrical cavity of the handle fits onto the hollow central column of the base. The cord tightening device may further comprise threading in the hollow central column of the base. The cord tightening device may further comprise a screw. The cord tightening device may further comprise a spring washer. The cord tightening device may further comprise at least two holes in the top flange of the handle. The cord tightening device may further comprise a circular ridge around the central cylindrical cavity of the top flange. The cord tightening device may further comprise ridges on the outer rim of the top flange.

A window blind includes a housing, a slat assembly, a slat angle adjusting device, and a first cord. The slat assembly is provided below the housing, and has multiple slats and a bottom end portion. The slat angle adjusting device includes a rotating shaft assembly provided in the housing, and a ladder assembly which includes at least two ladders connected to the rotating shaft assembly for turning the slats. The first cord passes on a front or a rear side of the slats, and connects the rotating shaft assembly and the bottom end portion. Throughout the duration of the rotation of the rotating shaft assembly, the first cord and a warp, which belongs to the ladder assembly and on the same side as the first cord, are both reeled into or out of the housing concurrently, and the slats and the bottom end portion are all rotated concurrently as well.

A window blind includes a housing, a slat assembly, a slat angle adjusting device, and a first cord. The slat assembly is provided below the housing, and has multiple slats and a bottom end portion. The slat angle adjusting device includes a rotating shaft assembly provided in the housing, and a ladder assembly which includes at least two ladders connected to the rotating shaft assembly for turning the slats. The first cord passes on a front or a rear side of the slats, and connects the rotating shaft assembly and the bottom end portion. Throughout the duration of the rotation of the rotating shaft assembly, the first cord and a warp, which belongs to the ladder assembly and on the same side as the first cord, are both reeled into or out of the housing concurrently, and the slats and the bottom end portion are all rotated concurrently as well.

An apparatus for controlling tilting and lifting operation of a window blind is provided. The apparatus includes a tilting control shaft and a lifting control shaft. A ladder belt is fastened to the tilting control shaft and interconnects the slats of the window blind, such that rotating the tilting control shaft tilts the slats. Multiple lifting cords are fastened to the lifting control shaft and connected to the blind bottom of the window blind, such that rotating the lifting control shaft lifts or lowers the blind bottom and one or more slats.

An apparatus for controlling tilting and lifting operation of a window blind is provided. The apparatus includes a tilting control shaft and a lifting control shaft. A ladder belt is fastened to the tilting control shaft and interconnects the slats of the window blind, such that rotating the tilting control shaft tilts the slats. Multiple lifting cords are fastened to the lifting control shaft and connected to the blind bottom of the window blind, such that rotating the lifting control shaft lifts or lowers the blind bottom and one or more slats.
