ILLUMINATED MARINE LADDER
A marine ladder comprising a plurality of steps and spreaders used for pilot or seaman access to vessel. The ladder comprises a plurality of illumination means positioned along the steps of the marine ladder. In one or more embodiments, the illumination means are also positioned along the spreaders. A means to power the illuminators is preferably a solar panel located on one or more of the spreaders.
LADDER HAVING SENSOR AND COMPUTING DEVICE FOR SAME
A ladder including sensors is provided. A remote computing device is also provided that communicates with the sensors to facilitate detection of various operating conditions. Methods for detection are also provided.

Ladder safely mechanisms
A ladder safety mechanism comprises at least one clamp, preferably a pair of spaced apart clamps, attachable part way along a ladder, to secure the ladder to part of a structure. In some embodiments, the mechanism includes at least one manually operated actuator, such as a rope or cable, coupled to the at least one clamp to enable a user located at the bottom of the ladder to open the at least one clamp to receive the part of a structure. In some embodiments, the at least one clamp is automatically secured to the part of the structure by placing the clamp onto the structure. The at least one manually operated actuator also enables a user located at the bottom of the ladder to open the at least one clamp to release the part of the structure. The at least one clamp is oriented substantially perpendicularly to a part of the structure to which the ladder is to be attached.
Ladder With Battery Power, and Methods
A ladder having a first front rail. The ladder has a second front rail in parallel and spaced relation with the first front rail. The ladder as a first rung attached to and positioned between the first front rail and the second front rail. The ladder as a receptacle attached to the ladder which is adapted to receive a battery. The receptacle having electrical contacts for the battery and an electrical outlet. The ladder has a wiring harness attached to the ladder and electrically connected to the electrical outlet to receive electricity from the battery. A method for providing electricity from a ladder. A method for making a ladder.
Ladder support
The invention relates to a ladder stabiliser that obviates the existing requirement for a leaning ladder to be physically secured to a building and/or “footed” near the ground by a second person. The stabiliser comprises a base (12) for supporting, in use, both feet of a ladder (100); and upstanding walls (14, 16, 18, 20) defining an open-topped three-dimensional space for accommodating, and at least partially enclosing, the lower distal ends of a ladder (100) at a predetermined optimum angle of inclination. At least one wall (14, 16, 18, 20) extends above the height of the lowermost rung of an inclined ladder (100). A pivotable wall (18) is openable to allow the ladder (100) to be inserted and removed from the stabiliser. The stabiliser may be provided with removable ballast weights (30), and adjustable clamps (36).
Ladder having sensor and computing device for same
A ladder including sensors is provided. A remote computing device is also provided that communicates with the sensors to facilitate detection of various operating conditions. Methods for detection are also provided.
STATE DETECTION APPARATUS, METHOD AND PROGRAM
It is possible to easily detect a state of a worker while securing a safety of the worker. A state detection device according to a present embodiment includes a sensor unit, an acquisition unit, a calculation unit, and a determination unit. The sensor unit is disposed on a leg portion of a high-place work tool on which a worker stands. The acquisition unit acquires time-series data related to gravity center sway of the worker from the plurality of sensors. The calculation unit calculates an evaluation value for the gravity center sway from the time-series data. The determination unit determines that a state of the worker working is unstable when the evaluation value is equal to or greater than a threshold value.
Ladder having sensor and computing device for same
A ladder including sensors is provided. A remote computing device is also provided that communicates with the sensors to facilitate detection of various operating conditions. Methods for detection are also provided.
ELECTRICAL WARNING SYSTEM FOR A CLIMBABLE STRUCTURE
A warning circuit for use on ladders includes a first sensor responsive to the placement of a first of a user's feet thereon and a second sensor responsive to the placement of a second of the user's feet thereon. The second sensor is electrically connected in series to the first sensor, and a relay is electrically connected in series to one of the first and second sensors. A power source has a power output terminal electrically connected in series to the other of the sensors connected in series. A sound device is electrically connected to a load output of the relay and to the power source. The load output of the relay is energized only when the first sensor is activated prior to activation of the second sensor whereupon the load output then energizes the sound device.
