A pool ladder may have a first and second leg extension, each having a generally continuous profile; a first tread may comprise first and second through-holes, the first through-hole being sized to slidingly receive the generally continuous profile of the first leg extension, and the second through-hole being sized to slidingly receive the generally continuous profile of the second leg extension; and a first and second tread support. The first tread support may be engaged at a tread location on the first leg extension and may be separate from the first leg extension. The second tread support may be engaged at a tread location on the second leg extension and may be separate from the second leg extension. Each of the first and second tread supports may protrude from the respective leg extension a sufficient amount to prevent the first and second through-holes from sliding past the tread locations.

Braces for ladders, ladders incorporating same and related methods

Ladder components, such as braces, as well as ladders and methods of manufacturing ladders are provided. In one embodiment, a ladder brace is provided which extends between a rail and a cross member (e.g., a rung or a cross-brace). The ladder brace may include a first connecting portion associated with the rail, a second connecting portion associated with the cross member, and a strut portion extending between the first and second connecting portions. At least one of the first connecting portion and the second connecting portion is configured to completely encircle its associated component (e.g., either the rail or the cross member, respectively).

RUNG MOUNTING STRUCTURE USED FOR LADDER

A rung mounting structure used for a ladder includes supporting legs, a rung and a connecting plate, wherein upper ends of the two supporting legs are connected through the connecting plate, the rung is arranged between the supporting legs, the supporting legs are made of metal sections, concave parts are arranged on inner sides of the supporting legs and each are provided with an opening allowing the rung to be inserted therein, and the sides, opposite to the openings, of the concave parts are sealed; and after the rung is inserted into the concave parts, the rung and the supporting legs are circumferentially limited and are fixedly connected.

Rung for a collapsible ladder

A rung for use in a ladder section of a collapsible ladder (1) is provided. The collapsible ladder comprises several ladder sections (5, 5a-5j), where each ladder section comprises two ladder tubes (10, 12) arranged parallel to each other and interconnected by the rung (20) to form the respective ladder section, and where each ladder tube (10, 12) is telescopically inserted into a ladder tube (10, 12) of a lower ladder section to form the collapsible ladder (1), the rung (20) comprising a main section (22), a first bracket section (24a) and a second bracket section (24b), wherein the first and second bracket sections (24a, 24b) are arranged at each end of the rung (20) to receive the respective ladder tube (10, 12). The rung (20) is characterized in that the main section (22) and the first and second bracket sections (24a, 24b) are provided as an integrated unit.
