SAFETY STOOL
A child safety stool of adjustable height is provided to allow children to engage with vanities, cabinets, or other structures of varying heights. The stool will allow users, typically children, to reach, e.g., sinks, work surfaces, or kitchen counters to encourage hygiene and engagement with domestic activities or workshop projects. The stool is sturdy and has high sides to surround the user and aid balance while the user engages in activities.
ESCALATING STEP LADDER SYSTEM
An automated system for raising and lowering a person to various desired levels enables the person to more comfortably and safely perform activities and tasks that require them to be at an elevated position relative to floor or ground surface. This system can comprise a lift platform attached to a series of vertical rails. The lift platform moves vertically along the rails, a user elevates to a desired position or height to perform the intended task. This system enables the user to determine their exact position instead of being at predetermined heights from using conventional devices such as ladders or stools. Once on the lift platform, a user can further secure themselves to the lift platform with a brace attached to the vertical rails. This brace would fit around the user's back and side straps would secure the brace to the vertical rails of the system.
Ladder hoop
A ladder hoop having a hoop shaped member with an inner facing surface, an outer facing surface, a top and a bottom. The hoop has two terminating ends forming an opening there between, and each terminating end is adapted to attach to a scaffold ladder. The hoop includes tabs supporting a member movable on the tabs between an open position and a closed position.
Elevated working platform and related methods
Elevated work platform apparatuses, as well as associated methods, are provided. In one particular embodiment, an elevated platform apparatus is provided comprising a first assembly having a pair of rails coupled with a plurality of rungs, a second assembly hingedly coupled with the first assembly, a platform pivotally coupled with the first assembly and configured to extend to, and engage a portion of, the second assembly. The apparatus further includes a cage associated with the platform. The cage may include at least one bar and at least one gate, the at least one gate being configured to swing in a first direction upon a user stepping on to the platform from the first rail assembly, and then swing back to a closed position after the user is standing on the platform. platform includes a toe-kick structure that is collapsible relative to the deck of the platform.
Platform ladder apparatus
A platform ladder apparatus (2) has a transport position and a use position in which the apparatus is arranged to lean against a wall (W) for performing work at an elevated level. The apparatus (2) has a ladder (4) and a working platform (20). A proximal side of the platform is pivotally connected at an upper end of the ladder such that it may be pivoted towards the ladder (4) to a stowed position essentially parallel to the ladder (4). The apparatus further comprises a pair of wall support arms (80) for stabilizing the apparatus in the use position in relation to the wall. The wall support arms (80) are connected to the platform (20) for movement between a stowed arm position in which the arms (80) project out from a distal side (24) of the platform (20) thereby preventing use of the apparatus, and a stabilizing arm position in which the arms (80) project sideways from the platform (20) in opposite lateral directions, respectively, for stabilizing the apparatus (2) in relation to the wall (W).
Elevated working platform and related methods
Elevated work platforms, as well as associated methods, are provided. In one particular embodiment, an elevated platform apparatus is provided comprising a first rail assembly having a pair of rails coupled with a plurality of rungs, a second rail assembly hingedly coupled with the first rail assembly, a platform configured to rest upon a portion of the first rail assembly and the second rails assembly and a cage associated with the platform. The cage may include at least one bar and at least one gate, the at least one gate being configured to swing in a first direction upon a user stepping on to the platform from the first rail assembly, and then swing back to a closed position after the user is standing on the platform. The at least one gate is also limited from being displaced in a second direction, opposite the first direction, beyond the closed position.
LADDER SYSTEM FOR TRENCH SHORING
The invention relates to a ladder system for trench shoring, comprising a lower ladder (14) which extends from the bottom of a trench over a lower subportion (T1) of the height of the trench, and an upper ladder (16) which extends over an upper subportion (T2) of the height of the trench up to a trench edge, wherein the upper ladder (16) is a suspension ladder for suspending onto a shoring panel (12). A ladder system according to the invention is intended to increase the safety of the workers particularly for deep trenches. In a ladder system according to the invention, a platform (22) is arranged at the lower end of the upper ladder (16) is, and that the lower ladder (14) is a stepladder or leaning ladder which stands on the bottom of the trench.
A MODULAR LADDER SYSTEM
A modular ladder system has a rung section having two elongate lateral stile extrusions and elongate rung extrusions spanning therebetween. Each stile extrusion may define an attachment side having an attachment face which has two attachment channels which are adjacent, parallel and longitudinally arranged along the attachment face. Each attachment channel may have inward facing rails which define an elongate insertion space therebetween and a relatively wider connector head accommodation void thereunderneath. Furthermore, each rail may define a connector head engaging under edge. Each stile extrusion may further define a connection side adjacent to the attachment side which may define a splice joint extrusion accommodating void therein. In this way, the present modular ladder system may be quickly and easily constructed and various accessories quickly and easily attached thereto.
Adjustable platform system
A platform system is configured to allow an individual to be supported at a plurality of different heights, and includes a frame defining a plurality of platform adjustment levels, and an upper support platform that is configured to be selectively moved between the plurality of platform adjustment levels to provide the plurality of different heights.
VERTICAL LADDER
A vertical ladder has two side stiles and at least one front vertical rail. Two sets of half treads are supported by each stile and horizontal rung members connected between at least one rail and a respective half tread or stile. Each horizontal rung member only has a front straight bar portion that terminates orthogonally at the at least one rail (i.e. at a T-junction), thereby allowing a vertical grab rail portion for gripping (including for counterbalance) and an orthogonal side straight bar portion. The rung members and half treads are alternately vertically staggered. As such, a user may ascend the ladder by stepping sideways onto the inward facing half treads and shift the user's weight from side to side, thereby being able to climb the ladder even without holding on and, when holding on, the vertical grab rail portions may be used for counterbalance.
