LADDER SAFETY APPARATUS
20230027619 · 2023-01-26 ·

A ladder attachment may allow a ladder to securely rest on a corner of a structure, structure corners, tree, or the like. The attachment may be attached to the rung of a ladder via several mounting brackets and mounting flanges. The attachment includes first and second arms which may be arranged at about a 90° angle to allow the positioning a ladder on the corner of the structure or oddly shaped structures during use.

Configurable ladder system and method

A configurable ladder system that can be configured into any of a plurality of different ladder configuration modes and methods for manufacturing and using same. The configurable ladder system includes at least one side rail and at least one support member and can be configured into any of a plurality of different ladder configuration modes. Each support member is disposed on a relevant side rail or on an optional adjustable rail. Depending upon a selected ladder configuration mode of the configurable ladder system, two or more of the support members can be configured to engage respective support regions within an intended work environment of the configurable ladder system. Thereby, the configurable ladder system advantageously can be readily adapted for use within a wide range of different purposes within a large number of a different work environments while enhancing user safety.

A ladder docking device including a ladder securement device and a pair of handrails is provided. The ladder securement device secures a ladder in an assigned location so that using the ladder while carrying tools and equipment up the ladder becomes safer and more secure. Specifically, the ladder securement device captures one of the ladder rungs to help avoid the ladder bottom from slipping on unstable or slippery surfaces and from sliding off sideways. Handrails of the ladder docking device provide a safe transition when stepping off the ladder or stepping down from the roof.

COMBINATION LADDERS, LADDER COMPONENTS AND RELATED METHODS

Ladders and ladder components are described herein, including multipurpose and adjustable ladders. In one embodiment, a ladder includes a first assembly having rails and rungs, a second assembly having rails and rungs, and one or more hinges coupling the first and second assemblies together such that the first and second assembly may be positioned relative to one another in at least a position or state and at least a second position or state. A top cap is coupled to the rails of the first assembly, such that when the first and second assemblies are in the first position, the rails of the second assembly do not contact the top cap. When the first and second assemblies are in the second position, each rail of the second assembly is at least partially nested in one of a pair of channels formed in the top cap.

A retro-fit installation modifies the existing pool ladder structure of an existing in-ground or above-ground swimming pool to support an underwater “swim out” platform structure. In some versions, the ladder rails of the existing pool ladder are used to support the underwater platform, while in others the existing pool ladder rails are replaced with new tubular platform rails specifically designed to support the underwater platform structure. Other versions are adapted for installations in a round pool or at a corner of a rectangular pool.

End cap with grip and rag holder

A ladder for a user to climb and which holds a rag includes a first rail having a top and a second rail and rungs attached to the first rail and second rail. The ladder includes an end cap that is attached adjacent to the top of the first rail. The end cap having an attachment portion which attaches to the first rail and a cover portion which covers over the first rail, and extend caps from the attachment portion. The cover portion having a rag holder. The ladder includes a pad attached to the back of the cover portion which contacts a surface against which the first rail leans down so as not to mar or scratch or damage the surface. An end cap.
