PRESSURE PULSE COMMUNICATION SYSTEM AND METHOD DURING GAS DRILLING
A pressure pulse communication system and method during gas drilling are provided. The system includes a downhole solenoid valve module and a sensor module, where the downhole solenoid valve module includes a valve body, a gas inlet, a piston micro-hole, a moving piston, a piston return spring, a piston cylinder, a gas outlet, a piston pressure relief hole, a solenoid valve spring, a solenoid valve, a battery, a pressure balancer, and a rubber seal. The pressure pulse communication system and method generate pressure pulses by changing the internal pressure of a drill pipe, such that a surface pressure sensor continuously receives the pressure pulses, thereby achieving the purpose of acquiring downhole temperature, pressure, and well inclination angle data.
Vacuum device and vacuum assisted digger system
An improved vacuum device for use with a vacuum assisted post hole digger tool. The improved vacuum device includes two suction providing motors with their suction outlets connected in a parallel fashion directly to a filter box. The dual motor configuration provides significantly improved suction power over existing vacuum devices but is still able to be powered on household 120V AC power. The improved vacuum device is paired with a post hole digger apparatus which includes an elongated hollow tubular tool for transmitting vacuum to the base end of the tube. The base end of the tube further comprises a variety bore heads for breaking up soil. A variety of devices for breaking up soil or removing clogs around the bore head are included: a thrasher bar, a hammer bar and an unclogger bar. Each of these devices are designed to be activated either manually by the user by application of force at the upper end of the tool or by application of rotary force by a motor disposed at the top of the housing.

DOWNHOLE METHOD AND ASSOCIATED APPARATUS
A circulating downhole tool utilising a variable fluid pressure regulated cycle valve device that can be attached to the borehole assembly BHA of a coiled tubing and used down an offshore or onshore wellbore is disclosed. The circulating downhole tool utilising a variable fluid pressure regulated cycle valve device can be remotely operated by an operator on the surface as many times as required in either the through-flow, intermediary or circulatory modes-of-operation, by simply varying the drilling fluid flow rate and pressure being supplied from the pump located on the surface and interconnected to the coiled tubing and the BHA that will include the circulating downhole tool utilising a variable fluid pressure regulated cycle valve device.

Monitoring health of additive systems
A monitoring system operable to monitor an oilfield additive system having multiple components. The oilfield additive system is operable to transfer an additive-containing substance for injection into a wellbore. The monitoring system includes sensors each associated with, and operable to generate information related to an operational parameter of, a corresponding one of the oilfield additive system components. The monitoring system also includes a monitoring device in communication with the sensors and operable to record the information generated by the sensors to generate a database. The database includes information indicative of maintenance aspects of the oilfield additive system and/or the oilfield additive system components.
Flow Splitting Device for Gas Reverse Circulation Drilling
A flow splitting device for gas reverse circulation drilling, including: an upper joint for connecting with a double-wall drill pipe; an inner tube which is arranged in the upper joint and defines a first passageway in communication with an inner chamber of the double-wall drill pipe, a second passageway in communication with an annular space in the double-wall drill pipe formed between the inner tube and the upper joint; a lower joint, having an upper end fixedly connected with the upper joint and a lower end for connecting with a drill tool; and a flow guiding member provided between the upper joint and the lower joint. A flexible sealing mechanism is provided outside the upper joint. The flexible sealing mechanism extends radially outward relative to the upper joint and the lower joint to form a sealing contact with a wellbore wall.
