Non-expanding liner hanger
Methods and apparatus for positioning a non-expandable liner hanger in a wellbore. A liner is coupled to the liner hanger, wherein the liner hanger comprises: a conduit body; and a reactive metal sealing element disposed on the conduit body, wherein the reactive metal sealing element comprises a reactive metal having a first volume. An example method includes contacting the reactive metal with a fluid that reacts with the reactive metal to produce a reaction product having a second volume greater than the first volume; and contacting a surface adjacent to the reactive metal sealing element with the reaction product to form a seal against the surface and to anchor the liner hanger from the surface, wherein anchoring the liner hanger to the surface suspends the liner in the wellbore.
ISOLATION FLANGE ASSEMBLY
An isolation flange assembly including a body including a receptacle disposed therein, and a first seal assembly disposed in the receptacle of the body, wherein the first seal assembly is configured to sealingly engage an inner surface of the receptacle of the body and an outer surface of a tubular member extending into the receptacle of the body, wherein the first seal assembly includes an annular radially outer seal, and an annular radially inner seal in engagement with the outer seal.
Wellhead assembly
A wellhead is provided. The wellhead comprises a high pressure wellhead housing; a casing hanger assembly located within the high pressure wellhead housing; and a casing supported on the casing hanger assembly. The casing hanger assembly is arranged so that the casing is able to move relative to the high pressure wellhead housing. This may be to accommodate well growth experienced by the wellhead during use.
Rigidized Seal Assembly Using Automated Space-Out Mechanism
A seal assembly is provided. The seal includes an upper body; a lower body having a seal for sealing between a first wellhead system component and a second wellhead system component; and a space-out mechanism disposed between the upper body and the lower body, the space-out mechanism comprising a ramp ring having at least one tapered surface. The upper body has at least one tapered surface configured to interface with the at least one tapered surface of the ramp ring, the ramp ring is configured to rotate relative to the upper body and the lower body, and the at least one tapered surface of the ramp ring and the at least one tapered surface of the upper body are configured to bear against each other to rigidize the system.
Washout prevention element for expandable metal sealing elements
Methods for positioning an expandable metal sealing element in the wellbore. An example method includes an expandable metal sealing element having a reactive metal and disposed in a location. The method further includes actuating a washout prevention element, contacting the expandable metal sealing element with a fluid that reacts with the reactive metal to produce a reaction product having a volume greater than the reactive metal, and allowing the washout prevention element to prevent at least a portion of the reaction product from flowing away from the location.
Lightweight flow module
A flow control module includes an inlet hub coupled to a first flow passage having a first flow bore, a flow meter associated with the first flow bore and positioned for top-down fluid flow, a choke disposed in a second flow passage having a second flow bore, the second flow passage coupled to a distal end of the first flow passage, and an outlet hub coupled to a distal end of the second flow passage, the outlet hub facing in a different direction from the inlet hub.
Compact downhole tool
A compact downhole tool, such as a frac plug, may include a single frustoconical member and a single set of slips. The slips may further include an internal button that engages with the frustoconical member. Various elements in the downhole tool may be dissolvable or degradable.
Ball joint seal
The pipe ball joint includes a casing having a socket portion with a substantially spherical interior surface and a first pipe segment extending from the socket portion. The socket portion has an annular groove disposed adjacent the partially spherical interior surface. A ball pipe section includes a ball segment received in the socket portion of the casing and a second pipe segment extending from the ball segment. A seal assembly is received in the annular groove of the casing and is disposed against the ball segment of the ball pipe section. The seal assembly includes a plurality of nested seal rings that each include a concave face and a convex face.
Non-aqueous electrolytic solution and non-aqueous electrolyte secondary battery using the same
A task is to provide a non-aqueous electrolytic solution exhibiting excellent cycle capacity maintaining ratio and excellent low-temperature resistance characteristics and a non-aqueous electrolyte secondary battery using the same. An object of the present invention is to provide a non-aqueous electrolytic solution which improves the cycle capacity maintaining ratio and low-temperature resistance characteristics, and a non-aqueous electrolyte secondary battery using the non-aqueous electrolytic solution. The present invention is a non-aqueous electrolytic solution comprising an electrolyte and a non-aqueous solvent dissolving therein the electrolyte, wherein the non-aqueous electrolytic solution contains a compound represented by formula (1) (wherein X represents an organic group containing a heteroatom, Y represents a sulfur atom, a phosphorus atom, or a carbon atom, n represents an integer of 1 or 2, m represents an integer of 2 to 4, l represents an integer of 1 or 2, and Z represents an organic group having 4 to 12 carbon atoms and optionally having a heteroatom), and a non-aqueous electrolyte secondary battery comprising the non-aqueous electrolytic solution.
PRESSURE INDICATION ALIGNMENT USING AN ORIENTATION PORT AND ORIENTATION SLOT
Provided is an inner string, an outer string, and a well system. The inner string, in one aspect, includes an inner tubular configured to extend at least partially within a seal surface of an outer tubular, the inner tubular including a sidewall having a thickness (t.sub.1). The inner string, according to one aspect, further includes an orientation port extending entirely through the sidewall to provide fluid access from an interior of the inner tubular to an exterior of the inner tubular, the orientation port configured to align with an orientation slot in the outer tubular that it is configured to engage with to provide a pressure reading indicative of a relative location of the inner tubular to the outer tubular.
