Stinger for actuating surface-controlled subsurface safety valve

A system used downhole in tubing is operable with pressure communicated via at least one control line. The system includes a tool and a stinger. The tool disposed with the tubing has a tool bore for passage of tubing flow. The tool has an operator movable between operable states, and the operator has a tool key disposed in the bore. The stinger removably disposed in the tubing is configured to insert into the tool bore. The stinger has an actuator in communication with the at least one control line. Actuated by the control line, a stinger key disposed on the stinger is movable with the actuator between positions. In this way, the stinger key is configured to engage the tool key and is configured to move the tool's operator at least from the one state to another.

Advanced pulling prong

Provided, in one embodiment, is a pulling prong. The pulling prong, in one example, includes an outer housing, and a nose assembly slidably located within the outer housing. In this example, the nose assembly and outer housing form an activation chamber. The pulling prong, in this example, may further include activation means located within the activation chamber, the activation means configured to move the nose assembly from a first running configuration to a second retrieving configuration.

DRIVING SYSTEM FOR CORE DRILLING RIG

A driving system for a core drilling rig has a driving motor. The driving motor has an outer rotor and an inner stator, and mutually-matched convex ribs are provided on the inner wall of the outer rotor and the outer wall of the inner stator. The outer rotor and the inner stator are in clearance fit. A clearance between the outer rotor and the inner stator is a driving liquid channel. The length of the outer rotor is less than that of the inner stator. The outer rotor is provided between the front and rear ends of the inner stator. The outer rotor is connected to an outer cylinder. The rear end of the inner stator is connected to a coupling.

Apparatus, system, and method for isolating a tubing string

An apparatus, system and method are provided for isolating a portion of a tubing string in a hydrocarbon well. The portion of isolated tubing string can be used to set a packer or test tubing integrity hydrostatically. The apparatus includes a dissolvable valve that is installed in a nipple and positioned below the portion of tubing string. The dissolvable valve includes a ball seat for receiving a dissolvable ball. When the dissolvable ball is dropped into the tubing string and seated on the ball seat of the dissolvable valve, the portion of tubing string is isolated from a second portion of tubing string below the nipple. Wellbore fluids in the hydrocarbon well dissolve the dissolvable valve and the dissolvable ball to leave behind a nipple without any restrictions.
