The method includes lowering the apparatus into the well casing and increasing hydraulic pressure to the hydraulic cylinder sufficient to pull the frusto-conical shaped wedge into the liner providing sufficient lateral force to force sufficient liner material into the perforations or cracks of the well casing to seal the well casing wall
DOWNHOLE EXPANDABLE METAL TUBULAR
The present invention relates to a downhole expandable metal tubular to be expanded in a well from a first outer diameter to a second outer diameter to abut against an inner face of a casing or borehole, the downhole expandable metal tubular having an axial extension, a circumference and an outer face, wherein the downhole expandable metal tubular is of metal with at least one first integral circumferential sealing element of metal as part of the outer face, providing the downhole expandable metal tubular with a first circumferential projection having a fourth height, and the at least one first integral circumferential sealing element at least partly defines a cavity having an opening. Moreover, the present invention also relates to a downhole expandable metal tubular assembly further comprising at least one end tubular, a patch for being expanded within a well tubular metal structure for sealing off leaks, perforations or apertures in the well tubular metal structure, and an annular barrier to be expanded in an annulus between a well tubular structure and an inner face of a borehole or a casing downhole for providing zone isolation between a first zone and a second zone of the borehole.

An object of the present invention is to provide a non-aqueous electrolytic solution which improves the cycle capacity maintaining ratio and low-temperature resistance characteristics, and a non-aqueous electrolyte secondary battery using the non-aqueous electrolytic solution. The present invention is a non-aqueous electrolytic solution comprising an electrolyte and a non-aqueous solvent dissolving therein the electrolyte, wherein the non-aqueous electrolytic solution contains a compound represented by formula (1) (wherein X represents an organic group containing a heteroatom, Y represents a sulfur atom, a phosphorus atom, or a carbon atom, n represents an integer of 1 or 2, m represents an integer of 2 to 4, l represents an integer of 1 or 2, and Z represents an organic group having 4 to 12 carbon atoms and optionally having a heteroatom), and a non-aqueous electrolyte secondary battery comprising the non-aqueous electrolytic solution.
EXPANDABLE LINER AND METHOD FOR RUNNING THE SAME
An expandable liner and a method for running the same are provided. The expandable liner includes a base pipe, wherein the base pipe is provided with a passage extending through an axial direction of the base pipe, a connection structure disposed at both ends of the base pipe, and screen openings on a wall of the base pipe; a porous expandable layer is fixedly attached to an exterior of the base pipe and made of a non-memory foamed and compressible material. The expandable liner and the method, by adopting a non-memory porous expandable layer, realize a sand-control performance and a wellbore-supporting capability of a prior art technology where memory materials are used, which significantly reduces costs in manufacturing, operating and running.
Casing patch system
A casing patch system comprising a base tubular with two anchor/seals coupled to the base tubular and an expansion tool comprising two expansion devices positioned such that upon expansion of the first anchor/seal, the second expansion device engages the second anchor/seal, which allows reduction of the expansion forces due to sequential expansion and reduces the length of the displacement necessary for setting the casing patch, eliminating the need for resetting the thruster, which allows deployment and setting of the casing patch on a wireline. In another embodiment, the expansion device comprises two swages coupled to a shaft at a distance between them approximately equal to the length of the anchor/seal. The swage diameters are selected such that the expansion forces of the anchor/seal by front and back swages are approximately equal, resulting in significantly less expansion force compared to the expansion force necessary for expansion by a single swage, which allows a high degree of anchor/seal expansions unachievable by single swage expansion devices.
Morphable apparatus
Apparatus and method for securing and sealing a tubular portion to another tubular to provide a liner hanger in oil and gas wells. At the top of the liner string, a sleeve is arranged on the liner to create a chamber therebetween. A port provides fluid access through the liner to the chamber. When fluid is introduced into the chamber the sleeve is morphed to secure it to the cemented casing. A lower fluid pressure is required to morph the sleeve than if the liner itself was to be morphed. Embodiments are provided for securing and sealing arrangements to increase the metal to metal seal and the load capability between the liner string and casing.
