Arrangement of a ground drilling device for the pushing or pulling introduction of a drill string into the ground, wherein the arrangement has a frame and a carriage which can be moved back and forth relative to the frame with a translatory movement, wherein at least one rolling element is provided, which is configured to roll during the translatory movement of the carriage, and a conversion device is provided, which is connected to the rolling element and is configured to convert the rotary movement of the rolling element into a rotary movement of the drill string.

Reversible pneumatic pipe ramming tool

A reversible pipe ramming tool used in horizontal pipe replacement operations. The tool is powered by a pneumatic hose attached to a rear end of the tool. The tool has forward and rearward fluid paths, which can either communicate with one another or stand in isolation. Fluid flow along the forward fluid path, when it is maintained in isolation from the reverse fluid path, causes the tool to move in a forward direction. Fluid flow along the forward fluid path, when it is maintained in communication with the reverse fluid path, causes the tool to move in a rearward direction. The tool is switched between forward and reverse by flowing fluid through a pilot fluid path in fluid communication with a valve. Movement of a shuttle within the valve selectively isolates the forward fluid path from the reverse fluid path.

A trenchless pipeline installation system and method are provided. The system and method may utilize a venturi pipe system located behind a drill bit and a pipe pushing device to help pull a pipe/cable underground in a continuous one-step process. The system combines a pipe casing, venturi system, mud motor and drill bit in a single, compressed system with a small diameter. The system is especially suitable for allowing a one-step installation of smaller-diameter pipe or cable line under, for example, rivers, hills, ravines, roads, railroads, streets, agricultural and residential areas.
