Rotary vane internal combustion engine
Rotary vane internal combustion engine comprises of two side-by-side rotors, placed in a cylindrical housing, wherein each rotor has at least two radial vanes rigidly attached to the rotor that form chambers for intake, compression, combustion, and exhaust. Each rotor alternately engages with a shaft by overrunning one-way clutches and is held from turning back, through the damper, mounted on a corresponding flywheel and forming a part of the flywheel assembly, which is rigidly attached on the shaft. The assembled rotors from the outside are rigidly closed by flanges on each of which is mounted at least one blade. The blades are positioned into formed cavities between the rotors and caps of the housing, thereby forming two cooling cavities through which coolant circulates around rotors through openings in the housing and through longitudinal grooves in the shaft. On the vanes are mounted cylindrical and conical seals, which remove the need for lubrication.

Advanced alternating piston rotary engine
A rotary internal combustion engine, comprising at least one first and second piston, hub and side-disk assembly set each of the piston, hub and side-disk assembly sets having first and second pistons that are fixed on a side disk diametrically opposite each other, the hubs cooperating with each other so that the first and second pistons, hub and side disk of the first piston, hub and side-disk assembly can also rotate relative to the first and second pistons, hub and side disk of the second piston, hub and side-disc assembly, such that in operation one of said pistons will be a leading piston and one a trailing piston said disks being connected to the periphery of a set of two one way clutches or ratchets placed back-to-back, one being adapted to connect and disconnect with the shaft and therefore provide for fast moving/direct torque and the other being adapted to connect/disconnect with a planetary gear train's planets carrier and therefore provide a multiplied torque-to-force advancement of the trailing piston.

TANGENTIAL INTERNAL COMBUSTION ENGINE
An internal combustion engine with two arced cylinders, with movement of the pistons in first and second cylinders takes place in the same direction. An arcing connecting rod on each of the sides of the pistons are averted from the combustion chambers. A freewheel is associated with each cylinder. An axis of the shaft represents the center of the arced shape of the cylinders and connecting rods. A side of the connecting rod opposite the piston connects to the outer side of a freewheel, and inner sides of the freewheels each connect to the shaft. Movement produced by the combustion is transmitted by the connecting rod to the outer side of the freewheel and the shaft. Outer sides of the freewheels are coupled to move in opposite directions, so the pistons in the first and the second cylinder run oppositely. A method operates such an internal combustion engine.
