Hydrostatic positive displacement machine

A hydrostatic positive displacement machine has a cam ring for adjusting the displacement volume thereof. This cam ring is guided in translation by approximately diametrically arranged outer circumferential surface segments on associated inner surface segments of a housing of the positive displacement machine.

Vane with offset walls and fluid passages used in a vane cell device

A vane for a vane cell device comprising a stator and a rotor rotatably arranged in the stator with a plurality of guide grooves in each of which a vane can be movably mounted along a direction of movement. The vane has a high-pressure side, and a low-pressure side facing the high-pressure side, for fluid conveyed or flowing through a workspace of the vane cell device. The vane has a first side wall formed on the high-pressure side and a second side wall formed on the low-pressure side, wherein the first and second side wall are connected to each other by a plurality of ribs forming lateral limits of fluid channels. The first and second side wall are offset relative to each other so that the high-pressure side is only partially covered by the first side wall, and the low-pressure side is only partially covered by the second side wall.

APPARATUS FOR ENERGY CONVERSION

An apparatus and a method of for energy conversion to dual-functionality are disclosed. The apparatus includes a storage container configured to store a working medium fluid and a pressure release valve configured to release the working medium fluid. A vane motor receives the working medium fluid at a high pressure. An embedded heat exchanger is encased within the vane motor that creates an interface between the working medium fluid within the vane motor and an energy carrier fluid, for heat exchange to occur therebetween. Upon the heat exchange, the temperature and pressure of the working medium fluid increases and the temperature of the energy carrier fluid decreases. The vane motor within an electric generator act as rotor, is rotated under combined effect of the working medium fluid entering the vane motor at high pressure and the pressure of the working medium fluid increasing upon heat exchange.

Single sliding vane rotary displacement pump

A sliding vane rotary pump apparatus embodiment of the invention has a stator having a bore with a wall, a rotor having a central axis about which the rotor rotates within the bore, and a vane comprising a single piece that includes two opposed tip regions that each have a contact point where the vane contacts the wall of the bore of the stator. The vane has a centroid that follows an eccentric circular path as the vane slidably moves within the rotor as the rotor rotates and induces the vane to slidably move within the rotor from contacting the wall of the bore at the contact point of the two opposed tip regions. The vane can have a constant thickness along its length until the two opposed tip regions at each end and the two opposed tip regions can be circular each having a common constant vane tip radius.
