A control device controls sectors for the assembly of turbine stators of a turbine. Each turbine stator is formed of an assembly of sectors juxtaposed to one another, and each sector has a reference. The control device includes an automated system for identifying the sector with means for reading the sector reference, a database of the references of the sectors that form the turbine stators of the turbine, and means for associating the read reference of the sector with a determined turbine stator of the turbine.
Combustion Cylinder Mounting Method and Combustion Cylinder Mounting Jig
A combustion cylinder mounting method, wherein a preparation step, a first contact maintenance step, a second contact maintenance step, and a combustion cylinder fixing step are executed. In the preparation step, a combustion cylinder mounting jig equipped with a spacer portion capable of maintaining a predetermined spacing between a first combustion cylinder and a second combustion cylinder adjacent to each other in the circumferential direction is prepared. In the first contact maintenance step, the spacer portion is brought into contact with the first combustion cylinder attached to the stationary portion of a casing. In the second contact maintenance step, the second combustion cylinder is brought into contact with the spacer portion. In the combustion cylinder fixing step, the second combustion cylinder is attached to the stationary portion while the first combustion cylinder and the second combustion cylinder are in contact with the spacer portion.

Vane arc segment with curved radial flange
A vane arc segment includes an airfoil piece that defines first and second platforms and a airfoil section that extends between the first and second platforms. The airfoil section has a trailing edge, a leading edge, a pressure side, and a suction side. The platforms each define first and second circumferential mate faces, forward and aft sides, a gaspath side, a non-gaspath side, and a radial flange that projects from the non-gaspath side. Each radial flange extends continuously and includes a first leg portion that extends adjacent the trailing edge, a second leg portion that extends from the first leg portion and curves around the suction side, and a third leg portion that extends from the second leg portion toward the forward side.
BLADE TRACK ASSEMBLY WITH TURBINE TIP CLEARANCE CONTROL
A turbine shroud or blade track assembly adapted to extend around a turbine wheel assembly is disclosed. The turbine shroud includes a carrier and a blade track coupled to the carrier. The blade track is movable between a radially-inward position having a first inner diameter and a radially-outward position having a second inner diameter larger than the first inner diameter.
Attachment Faces for Clamped Turbine Stator of a Gas Turbine Engine
An airfoil fairing shell for a gas turbine engine includes an airfoil section between an outer vane endwall and an inner vane endwall, at least one of the outer vane endwall and the inner vane endwall including a radial attachment face, a suction side tangential attachment face, a pressure side tangential attachment face, and an axial attachment face.
CENTERING DEVICE FOR CENTERING A TURBINE HOUSING, TURBO SYSTEM INCLUDING THE CENTERING DEVICE, AND METHOD OF CENTERING A TURBINE HOUSING
A centering device (10) for centering a turbine housing (40) with respect to a central axis (33) of a radial turbine of a turbo system is described. The centering device (10) includes a ring-shaped body (11) having an outer diameter D1 and an inner diameter D2, wherein a ratio of D1/D2 is ≤2. Additionally, the centering device (10) includes two or more centering elements (16) provided on a side surface (12) of the ring-shaped body (11) for engaging with respective complementary centering elements (21) provided on a bearing housing (20). The two or more centering elements (16) are configured for allowing a radial thermal expansion of the ring-shaped body (11) during engagement of the two or more centering elements (16) with the respective complementary centering elements (21). Further, a turbo system, including such a centering device as well as a method of centering a turbine housing are described.
TURBINE SECTION WITH CERAMIC SUPPORT RINGS AND CERAMIC VANE ARC SEGMENTS
A gas turbine engine includes a turbine section disposed about an engine axis. The turbine section includes inner and outer diameter ceramic support rings that define a gaspath there between. Each of the inner and outer diameter ceramic support rings is monolithic and continuous. Ceramic vane arc segments are disposed in the gaspath and supported by the inner and outer diameter ceramic support rings. Each of the ceramic vane arc segments includes inner and outer platforms and an airfoil section there between. At least one retainer engages the inner or outer diameter ceramic support ring with the ceramic vane arc segments to retain the ceramic vane arc segments between the inner and outer diameter ceramic support rings.
