CHAIN DRIVE OIL SEPARATOR
A chain drive mechanism includes a chain extending around a drive sprocket and a driven sprocket for transmitting torque therebetween. The chain drive mechanism also includes a snubber including one or more guide shoes, each having an engagement surface that contacts a side of the chain between the drive sprocket and the driven sprocket. The engagement surface of the guide shoe defines a recess with an opening therein, with the recess configured to convey lubricant fluid, such as oil, from the chain and through the opening by motion of the chain along the engagement surface. The recess has a wedge shape including two side walls converging toward the opening, and a floor that slopes downwardly away from the engagement surface and toward the opening. The snubber includes one or more guide shoes that are inside, outside, or some combination of inside and outside of the chain.

LUBRICANT LEVEL CONTROL FOR LUBRICATED SYSTEMS
Disclosed herein is a system includes a lubricated component and a lubricant pump that selectively provides lubricant to the lubricated component. The system also includes a lubricant source in lubricant providing communication with the lubricant pump. Additionally, the system includes a lubricant flow regulation device in lubricant receiving communication with the lubricated component and lubricant providing communication with the lubricant source. The lubricant flow regulation device is configured to drain lubricant from the lubricated component to the lubricant source based on when the lubricant pump provides lubricant to the lubricated component, and to prevent drainage of lubricant from the lubricated component to the lubricant source based on when the lubricant pump stops providing lubricant to the lubricated component.
Gas Admission Valve Including Seal Redundancy, and Method of Sealing a Gas Admission Valve
Gas admission valve assembly includes a housing, an elongated valve guide disposed within a central bore of the housing, a valve including a valve stem slidably disposed within the valve guide and a valve head selectively engagable with a valve seat of the housing to control flow between gas entry and exit openings into a housing entry chamber. First and second stem seals are disposed at opposite ends of the valve guide in sealing engagement with the valve stem between the valve stem and the central bore of the housing distally and the valve guide proximally.

Lubrication control in internal combustion engines
An adapter replaces a crankcase screw-on oil filter for an internal combustion engine and couples pressurized oil in the engine's crankcase with at least one external component. The adapter includes a valve that prevents backflow of oil from the external component to the crankcase.
LUBRICATING METHOD OF LUBRICATION SYSTEM OF ENGINE
The present disclosure discloses a lubricating method of a lubrication system of an engine. A first check valve unidirectionally leading to an oil chamber is arranged between a crankshaft chamber and the oil chamber; a first lubricating oil circuit that communicates the oil chamber and the cam chamber is arranged in the crankcase, and the cam chamber is communicated with an upper rocker arm chamber through a tappet hole; an oil pipe connected to the first lubricating oil circuit is arranged in the oil chamber; when the pressure in the crankshaft chamber is increased, the first check valve is opened, engine oil enters the oil chamber from the crankshaft chamber; and the pressure in the oil chamber is increased accordingly, the engine oil enters the first lubricating oil circuit and the cam chamber through the oil pipe for lubricating the cam chamber.
CYLINDER HEAD COVER
A cylinder head cover of plastic for covering a cylinder head of an internal combustion engine is disclosed. The cylinder head cover includes a bearing track including at least two bearing points each having a bearing opening for supporting a camshaft. A bearing ring is provided in at least one of at least one bearing point and a bearing opening. The bearing ring is injected into the plastic of the cylinder head cover. An oil duct that leads to at least one of the two bearing points and serves for bearing lubrication is arranged in the cylinder head cover.
