Valve device
Valve device, in particular for an exhaust gas section of an internal combustion engine, includes a valve housing with an inlet and outlet, a valve seat arranged between the inlet and outlet and having a valve opening, closeable by a valve closing member pressed against the valve seat by a predetermined force, and a diaphragm acting on the valve closing member. A first control chamber is separated from a second control chamber by the diaphragm so that the valve is switched by a pressure difference between the first control chamber and second control chamber. For reliable opening even under adverse operating conditions, the diaphragm is connected to the valve closing member, at least over a partial range of a possible stroke of the valve closing member, via a gear mechanism to translate movement of the diaphragm into movement of the valve closing member at a lower speed.
EXHAUST-GAS SYSTEM
An exhaust-gas system for guiding and aftertreating exhaust gases from an exhaust-gas source, such as an internal combustion engine, with a flow section through which the exhaust gas may flow, with at least one component which is provided for the exhaust-gas aftertreatment, is arranged in the flow section and through which the exhaust gas may flow, and with an actuator for influencing the exhaust-gas flow in the flow section. The actuator is in fluid communication with the gas volume in the flow section, as a result of which the flow direction of the exhaust gas which flows through the flow section is influenced.
VALVE DEVICE
Valve device, in particular for an exhaust gas section of an internal combustion engine, includes a valve housing with an inlet and a outlet, a valve seat which is arranged between the inlet and the outlet and having a valve opening, closeable by a valve closing member pressed against the valve seat by a predetermined force, and a diaphragm acting on the valve closing member. A first control chamber is separated from a second control chamber by the diaphragm so that the valve is switched by a pressure difference between the first control chamber and second control chamber. For reliable opening even under adverse operating conditions, the diaphragm is connected to the valve closing member, at least over a partial range of a possible stroke of the valve closing member, via a gear mechanism to translate movement of the diaphragm into movement of the valve closing member at a lower speed.

A muffler valve device for a vehicle may include a chamber fixed at a surface of the wall, a guide rod provided in the chamber and attached at the surface of the wall, a fixing member attached at one end portion of the guide rod and fixing the chamber, a valve disposed slidably on the guide rod between the surface of the wall and the fixing member, and an elastic member located between the valve and the fixing member to provide an elastic force to the valve.

To provide a saddle type vehicle with a water cooled engine allowing simplification of the mounting structure for a thermostat and a check valve. A saddle type vehicle having a water cooled engine, includes: a thermostat provided in a cooling water path of the water cooled engine; and a check valve provided in a secondary air path supplying secondary air to an exhaust path of the water cooled engine, wherein a case of the thermostat and a case of the check valve are formed integrally. The case of the thermostat is formed in a cylindrical configuration, and the case of the check valve is integrally connected to the cylindrical side wall thereof.

A muffler valve device for a vehicle may include a chamber fixed at a surface of the wall, a guide rod provided in the chamber and attached at the surface of the wall, a fixing member attached at one end portion of the guide rod and fixing the chamber, a valve disposed slidably on the guide rod between the surface of the wall and the fixing member, and an elastic member located between the valve and the fixing member to provide an elastic force to the valve.

A saddle type vehicle having a water cooled engine, includes: a thermostat provided in a cooling water path of the water cooled engine; and a check valve provided in a secondary air path supplying secondary air to an exhaust path of the water cooled engine, wherein a case of the thermostat and a case of the check valve are formed integrally. The case of the thermostat is formed in a cylindrical configuration, and the case of the check valve is integrally connected to the cylindrical side wall thereof.

The present disclosure relates to an exhaust system for an internal combustion engine. The exhaust system comprises an exhaust conduit adapted to fluidly connect the internal combustion engine to a turbine of a turbo and a valve comprising a valve flap located in the exhaust conduit in a position between the internal combustion engine and the turbine. The valve flap is pivotally connected to at least a portion of the exhaust conduit. The exhaust system further comprises an actuator adapted to impart a load on at least a portion of the valve to thereby control a pivotal position of the valve flap in the exhaust conduit to thereby control a gas flow via the exhaust conduit and an actuator load sensor adapted to detect load information indicative of a magnitude of the load that the actuator currently imparts on at least the portion of the valve.

The present disclosure relates to an exhaust system for an internal combustion engine.
