WORK VEHICLE
A work vehicle includes a hood, an engine, a radiator, an air cleaner, and a condenser. The hood covers an engine compartment located on a front portion of a traveling body. The engine is a drive source. The radiator supplies a coolant to the engine. The air cleaner takes in outside air and supplies the air to the engine. The condenser cools a refrigerant. In front of the radiator, the air cleaner and the condenser are disposed one above the other. The condenser is withdrawable in the left and right direction.
Alternative method of heat removal from an internal combustion engine
A condensation cooling system for motor vehicles is presented. The system, in principal part, comprises a liquid-to-liquid heat exchanger for circulating a first coolant, a coolant tank for circulating a second coolant, and a condensing panel or surface, where the condensing panel is part of the coolant tank and also functions as a vehicle body panel. These components are arranged in two circuits, i.e. an engine cooling circuit in which a first coolant is circulated and a vapor condensing circuit in which a second coolant is circulated. The two cooling circuits are interconnected by the coolant tank where the heat exchanger is positioned within the coolant tank such that it is immersed in the second coolant. The coolant tank may also be equipped with pressure release valves, electric fans and diffuser plates to control pressure and manage air and vapor flow internally within the tank.
Connector
A connector for an engine cooling system is provided. The connector may be located in a chamber with two inlets and an outlet. The connector may include a thermostatic valve. A temperature sensitive element may move the thermostatic valve between an open and closed position. A pressure relief valve may also be incorporated into the thermostatic valve. An engine cooling system comprising the connector is also provided.
ALTERNATIVE METHOD OF HEAT REMOVAL FROM AN INTERNAL COMBUSTION ENGINE
A condensation cooling system for motor vehicles is presented. The system, in principal pan, comprises a liquid-to-liquid heat exchanger for circulating a first coolant, a coolant tank for circulating a second coolant, and a condensing panel or surface, where the condensing panel is pan of the coolant tank and also functions as a vehicle body panel. These components are arranged in two circuits, i.e. an engine cooling circuit in which a first coolant is circulated and a vapor condensing circuit in which a second coolant is circulated. The two cooling circuits are interconnected by the coolant tank where the heat exchanger is positioned within the coolant tank such that it is immersed in the second coolant. The coolant tank may also be equipped with pressure release valves, electric fans and diffuser plates to control pressure and manage air and vapor flow internally within the tank.
Method and apparatus for cooling an engine
A method for cooling an engine includes increasing the pressure of a liquid coolant from a first pressure to a second pressure. Thereafter, components of the engine to be cooled are contacted with the liquid coolant so that the liquid coolant at least partially evaporates and forms a vapor with a particular state. Thereafter, the vapor is fed to a throttle to reduce the pressure of the liquid coolant to a third pressure. The particular state of the vapor is determined based on the temperature and the third pressure of the liquid coolant downstream of the throttle, and based on the second pressure of the liquid coolant under an assumption that the throttle is an adiabatic throttle such that enthalpy of the liquid coolant remains constant as the liquid coolant passes the throttle. A desired vapor state adjustment is made based on the determined particular state of the vapor.
Control method of coolant control valve unit
A control method for a coolant control valve unit includes detecting the coolant temperature; opening a radiator coolant supply valve; controlling the opening rate of the valve if the detected coolant temperature is higher than a target coolant temperature; and calculating a first difference value by subtracting a hysteresis value from the target coolant temperature. The blocking or controlling of the opening rate is conducted according to the detected coolant temperature and the first difference value. The hysteresis value is variable according to outside temperature.
METHOD AND APPARATUS FOR COOLING AN ENGINE
A method for cooling an engine includes increasing the pressure of a liquid coolant from a first pressure to a second pressure. Thereafter, components of the engine to be cooled are contacted with the liquid coolant so that the liquid coolant at least partially evaporates and forms a vapor with a particular state. Thereafter, the vapor is fed to a throttle to reduce the pressure of the liquid coolant to a third pressure. The particular state of the vapor is determined based on the temperature and the third pressure of the liquid coolant downstream of the throttle, and based on the second pressure of the liquid coolant under an assumption that the throttle is an adiabatic throttle such that enthalpy of the liquid coolant remains constant as the liquid coolant passes the throttle. A desired vapor state adjustment is made based on the determined particular state of the vapor.
Vehicular heat management device
A vehicular heat management device includes a first heat source, a second heat source, a first heat generator, a second heat generator, a heat generator pathway, a first heat source pathway, a second heat source pathway, and a switching portion. The first heat source and the second heat source heat a heat medium. The first heat generator generates heat according to operation. The second heat generator generates heat according to operation. The first heat generator and the second heat generator are provided in the heat generator pathway. The first heat generator is provided in the first heat generator pathway. The second heat generator is provided in the second heat generator pathway. The switching portion switches between a condition where the heat generator pathway is in flowing communication with the first heat generator pathway and a condition where the heat generator pathway is in flowing communication with the second heat generator pathway.
CONNECTOR
A connector for an engine cooling system is provided. The connecter may be located in a chamber with two inlets and an outlet. The connector may include a thermostatic valve.
