This generator set is provided with an airflow path which has an air inlet and an air outlet and through which a cooling air flows, a power generator, an alternator which is driven by the power generator, and a radiator which is installed in the airflow path, with a cooling medium circulating between the power generator and the radiator, wherein the inflow area of the cooling airflow into the radiator is greater than the passage area of the air inlet.

A fan shroud and a blower device are provided. The fan shroud includes a shroud wall surface and a plurality of ventilation openings. The shroud wall surface extends around a fan along a radial direction orthogonal to a rotation axis. The plurality of ventilation openings are formed through the shroud wall surface in a thickness direction of the shroud wall surface to allow passing of wind generated by a fan motor. A width of a wall surface side opening on a downstream side of the wind in the ventilation opening is smaller than a width of a lateral wall side opening on an upstream side of the wind in the ventilation opening.

RADIATOR FAN

There is provided a radiator fan configured to introduce outside air into a radiator in front of an engine. The radiator fan includes: a propeller disposed behind the radiator; a fan motor configured to drive the propeller to rotate; and a fan shroud covering the propeller from behind. The fan shroud is formed with a plurality of hoods whose exhaust air ports are directed in any directions in a range from a lateral direction to a downward direction.

A blower has a blower fan and a half shroud. The blower fan supplies air to a heat exchanger. The heat exchanger has a core that performs a heat exchange between a heat medium and the air. The half shroud covers a part of the core and defines an air passage extending from the heat exchanger to the blower fan. A blocking plate is disposed in a non-overlapping portion in which the half shroud and the core are located not to overlap with each other. The blocking plate prevents the air, which is blown by the blower fan, from flowing into an upstream area of the blower fan in a flow direction of the air through the non-overlapping portion.

When the hood is in the open position, the fan is displaced from the operable position.

When the hood is in the open position, the fan is displaced from the operable position.

A cooling device with a heat exchanger through which air flows and at least one fan arranged on the heat exchanger, forming a radial gap for generating airflow through the heat exchanger. The heat exchanger having a front face through which air flows which points toward the fan and is covered in portions by the fan, so that the front face is divided into a first subface that is at least partially covered by the fan and a second subface that is free of the fan. The cooling device has a guide sleeve arranged between the heat exchanger and the fan so as to close the radial gap at least in portions, forms a flow channel leading from an air outlet of the fan to the first subface of the front face, fluidically connects the air outlet to the first subface, and fluidically separates the same from the second subface.
