RADIATOR FAN
There is provided a radiator fan configured to introduce outside air into a radiator in front of an engine. The radiator fan includes: a propeller disposed behind the radiator; a fan motor configured to drive the propeller to rotate; and a fan shroud covering the propeller from behind. The fan shroud is formed with a plurality of hoods whose exhaust air ports are directed in any directions in a range from a lateral direction to a downward direction.
Engine cooling structure for motorcycle
A front fender is provided in front of an air-cooled engine which is a drive source of a motorcycle. An air introduction hole which opens frontward is formed at a front part of a cylinder head of the air-cooled engine. A space around a plug attachment portion for a spark plug and a space in front of the cylinder head communicate with each other through the air introduction hole. A guide portion for guiding incoming wind toward the air introduction hole is formed at a rear part of the front fender.
Pressurized oil system powered by two-stroke engine
A two-stroke engine comprises a first oiling system and a second oiling system. The first oiling system includes a low-pressure pump that distributes oil from a first oil tank to the two-stroke engine. The second oiling system includes a pump mechanically coupled to a crankshaft of the two-stroke engine, wherein the pump distributes oil from a second oil tank to an accessory at a pressure greater than the first oil pressure, wherein oil distributed to the accessory is returned to the second oil tank.
Straddled vehicle
A straddled vehicle including a radiator, a radiator fan disposed behind the radiator and configured to generate air passing through the radiator and flowing rearward, a fan cover disposed behind the radiator fan and including a lateral blowing port configured to blow out sidewards the air flowing rearward from the radiator, a side cover covering the radiator laterally and having an opening formed therein, an inner panel disposed between the side cover and the radiator, to thereby define an accommodation space between the inner panel and the side cover, and an electrical component disposed in the accommodation space. The inner panel includes a slope that is located rearward of the radiator, slants with respect to aright-and-left direction of the straddled vehicle, is configured to lead the air blown out from the lateral blowing port to the opening in the side cover, and divides the accommodation space.
Saddle-riding vehicle
A saddle-riding vehicle includes a radiator in front of an engine of the saddle-riding vehicle and on one lateral side of the vehicle in a vehicle widthwise direction with respect to a center line in the vehicle widthwise direction. The radiator includes: a radiator body that allows coolant of the engine to flow through the radiator body; a radiator fan at a rear face of the radiator body; and a fan cover that covers the radiator fan from a rear of the radiator fan to guide exhaust air from the radiator to the one lateral side in the vehicle widthwise direction.
ENGINE UNIT
An engine unit includes a cylinder, a crankshaft, a crankcase, a generator, a sensor, and a coolant passage. The crankshaft is connected to a piston in the cylinder. The crankcase accommodates the crankshaft therein. The generator includes a rotor that rotates together with the crankshaft and a stator facing the rotor. The generator generates electric power by rotation of the rotor. The sensor detects a rotation position of the rotor. The coolant passage includes an ejection port, guides a coolant to the ejection port, and ejects the coolant from the ejection port toward the sensor.
Saddle riding vehicle
An ECU is covered by a fuel tank and an upper cover which are vehicle body trim parts along with the upper surface of an air cleaner box. A frame holding duct is connected to the air cleaner box, the frame holding duct extends vehicle forward from the air cleaner box, is connected to a body frame, and is arranged inside an upper cowl, the upper cowl covering the front portion of the body frame, a branching portion of the intake air is arranged in the frame holding duct, and a branching passage extending from the branching portion is disposed between the upper surface of the air cleaner box and the fuel tank and the upper cover and is positioned in front of the ECU.
The inner panel includes a slope that is located rearward of the radiator, slants with respect to a right-and-left direction of the straddled vehicle, is configured to lead the air blown out from the lateral blowing port to the opening in the side cover, and divides the accommodation space.
