BLOWER FOR VEHICLE
A blower has a blower fan and a half shroud. The blower fan supplies air to a heat exchanger. The heat exchanger has a core that performs a heat exchange between a heat medium and the air. The half shroud covers a part of the core and defines an air passage extending from the heat exchanger to the blower fan. A blocking plate is disposed in a non-overlapping portion in which the half shroud and the core are located not to overlap with each other. The blocking plate prevents the air, which is blown by the blower fan, from flowing into an upstream area of the blower fan in a flow direction of the air through the non-overlapping portion.
Utility vehicle cooling fan installation
A utility vehicle such as an agricultural tractor includes an engine, a heat exchanger, and a fan located under a hood. The hood is pivotable between a closed position and an open position. The fan is mounted to the hood such that, when in the closed position, the hood covers the engine and heat exchanger and the fan is positioned in an operable position to generate a cooling airstream through the heat exchanger. When the hood is in the open position, the fan is displaced from the operable position.
COOLING DEVICE WITH TWO END FACES THAT CAN BE SUPPLIED WITH ELECTRICITY SEPARATELY FROM ONE ANOTHER
A cooling device with a heat exchanger through which air flows and at least one fan arranged on the heat exchanger, forming a radial gap for generating airflow through the heat exchanger. The heat exchanger having a front face through which air flows which points toward the fan and is covered in portions by the fan, so that the front face is divided into a first subface that is at least partially covered by the fan and a second subface that is free of the fan. The cooling device has a guide sleeve arranged between the heat exchanger and the fan so as to close the radial gap at least in portions, forms a flow channel leading from an air outlet of the fan to the first subface of the front face, fluidically connects the air outlet to the first subface, and fluidically separates the same from the second subface.
Fan cowling assembly
A fan cowling assembly for mounting to a working machine, the fan cowling assembly including: a support for mounting to a working machine, the support defining an opening for receiving a plurality of rotatable blades of a fan, in use; a fan ring mounted to the support by a ring mounting arrangement, the fan ring being arranged to surround the plurality of rotatable blades, in use; wherein the ring mounting arrangement is configured such that the fan ring is moveable relative to the support when mounted thereto.
Cooling module for motor vehicle
Provided is a cooling module for a motor vehicle, which modulates heat exchangers installed in front of an engine room of a motor vehicle, and more particularly, a cooling module for a motor vehicle, which is more easily assembled and has improved assembly precision by including a plate housing casing a plurality of radiators and preventing a core portion of the radiator from being damaged during assembling the radiators to each other.
Ventilation device and vehicle with a ventilation device
A ventilation device has a holder, in particular a ventilation frame, with a substantially circular continuous opening for receiving a ventilation wheel rotating about the central axis, thereof. The opening is bordered by an edge face running substantially cylinder-symmetrically about the central axis. As the edge face in two separate, diametrically opposed peripheral sections the radius is at least partly enlarged in comparison to the cylinder-symmetrical form in the remaining peripheral sections, and/or a circular projection of she edge face, which projection projects radially inwards, is axially offset away from a space provided for the ventilation wheel. Because of she corresponding shaping of the edge face of the opening, contact and/or development of noise between the ventilation wheel and the edge of the opening is prevented in the ventilation frame in the event of a yawing of the ventilation wheel.
Power system radiators and power systems having radiators
Power system radiators and power systems having radiators are disclosed. An example power system includes: an engine; a generator configured to generate electrical power from mechanical power provided by the engine; power conversion circuitry configured to convert the electrical power from the generator to welding-type power; and a housing enclosing the engine, the generator, and the power conversion circuitry; and a radiator assembly configured to cool the engine and comprising a heat exchanger oriented substantially horizontally when the power system is installed.
Identification and reduction of backflow suction in cooling systems
A cooling assembly configured to reduce backflow suction in a mobile platform including a prime mover, at least one heat exchanger fluidly connected to the prime mover, a blower upstream of the at least one heat exchanger configured to generate a current of cooling air to cool the at least one heat exchanger, and a backflow suction reduction member positioned downstream of the blower and upstream of the at least one heat exchanger, the backflow suction reduction member defining an internal channel including a first opening at one end, a second opening at a second end, and at least one third opening positioned between the first and second ends. The backflow suction reduction member is configured to receive airflow through the first and second openings and discharge the airflow through the at least one third opening in a region where air is backflowing from the at least one heat exchanger.
Axial flow cooling fan with centripetally guiding stator vanes
A generator system that includes an engine and an alternator which is driven by the engine to generate electrical power. A radiator is connected to the engine and an axial fan directs air toward the radiator to cool the radiator. A plurality of static vanes is located between the axial fan and the radiator. Each static vane includes an inner end and an outer end, the inner ends of the static vanes being joined together. The static vanes are curved in a plane orthogonal to the rotation axis in order to direct the air towards the axis, thereby counterbalancing the centrifugal forces. The static vanes may be twisted, the pitch angle increasing from 0 degree at hub to circa 45 degrees at tip. Additionally, each static vane is attached to the shroud via a third member that extends axially, thereby allowing an axial offset between shroud and static vanes.
