SEAL FOR SEALING OFF THE GAP BETWEEN A HEAT EXCHANGER AND THE INSIDE WALL OF A GROOVE IN A FLUID CHANNEL
The invention concerns a seal (5) for sealing off the gap between a heat exchanger (1) and the inside wall of a groove (7) in a fluid channel for accommodating said heat exchanger [1], the seal (5) comprising at least one fixing member (51, 52) for fixing the seal (5) on at least part of the circumference of the heat exchanger (1) and at least a first (53) and second lip (54) adapted to contact opposite sides (71, 72) of the groove (7) to thereby seal off the gap between the heat exchanger (1) and the fluid channel and to fix said at least part of the circumference of the heat exchanger (1) inside the groove (7).
HEAT EXCHANGER TRANSFER TUBES
A transfer tube for a thermal transfer device can include at least one wall having an inner surface and an outer surface, where the inner surface forms a cavity, where the at least one wall further has a first end and a second end. The first end can be configured to couple to a terminus of a heat exchanger of the thermal transfer device. The second end can be configured to couple to a collector box of the thermal transfer device. At least a portion of the at least one wall can be disposed in a vestibule of the thermal transfer device. The cavity can be configured to simultaneously receive a first fluid that flows from the first end to the second end and a second fluid that flows from the second end to the first end.

INTAKE DEVICE OF INTERNAL COMBUSTION ENGINE
An intake device for an internal combustion engine includes: a main pipe having an upstream end forming a suction port and a downstream end configured to be connected to an intake port of an internal combustion engine main body; a compressor of a supercharger provided in the main pipe; an intercooler provided in the main pipe at a position downstream of the compressor and including a cooling part, an upstream header provided upstream of the cooling part, and a downstream header provided downstream of the cooling part; a throttle valve disposed in the main pipe at a position downstream of the intercooler; a bypass pipe having a first end and a second end, the bypass pipe being connected to a part of the main pipe between the cooling part and the throttle valve; and a catch tank provided in the bypass pipe and configure to catch condensed water.
Hinged connection device of two tubular components
A hinged connection device includes first and second tubular components around a main axis which respectively include a first male hinge member provided with an end head shaped as a spherical segment and a second female hinge member provided with a complementary seat receiving movably inside the end head of the first member. The first member is configured to be housed at least partially inside the first component and to be assembled to the second component throughout the second member. The second member is configured to be mounted around the second component and assembled to the first component over the first member such that the two tubular components are assembled together by the reciprocal intersection of the two hinge members.
HEAT EXCHANGER FOR A MOTOR VEHICLE
The main object of the invention is a heat exchanger including a first header plate of an inlet manifold, a second header plate of a distribution header and a heat exchange core bundle extending between the first header plate and the second header plate along a longitudinal direction, the heat exchange core bundle being defined by a shell and having a plurality of tubes arranged successively next to each other in a transverse direction, each tube being capable of cooperating with the header plates via through-holes formed in each plate. The shell has at least one longitudinal end with a straight edge configured to be in flat surface contact with at least one header plate in a contact area, the surface contact occurring mainly in a plane perpendicular to the longitudinal direction.
Gas pipe for exhaust gas recirculation
A plurality of upper fins and a plurality of lower fins are each provided in an EGR passage so as to be adjacent to each other across a predetermined space in a direction perpendicular to an exhaust-gas flow direction. The upper fins and the lower fins are gradually narrowed in width toward their respective projection directions, so that both sides thereof in their width direction have inclined surfaces. A tilt angle of the inclined surfaces of the lower fins is made larger than a tilt angle of the inclined surfaces of the upper fins.
DUAL FUEL INJECTION SYSTEM FOR OPTIMIZING FUEL USAGE AND MINIMIZING SLIP FOR DIESEL AND GASOLINE ENGINES
The invention involves a system and method for providing a liquid fuel or a liquid and gaseous fuel to a diesel or Otto cycle engine for operation of the engine. The system includes a primary electronic control module (ECM), which monitors engine sensors and contains a first three-dimensional fuel map for the liquid fuel. A second ECM is connected for bi-directional transfer of information to the first ECM, the second ECM contains a second three-dimensional fuel map for delivery of the gaseous fuel through a secondary gaseous fuel injection assembly. The bi-directional communication between the two ECMs while monitoring the engine sensors allows both ECMs to “learn” an efficient fuel map for delivery of both fuels in the same cycle for improved efficiency, reduction in slip and lower emissions.
