PRESSURIZED AIR SUPPLY SYSTEM AND METHOD FOR STARTING PRESSURIZED AIR SUPPLY SYSTEM
A pressurized air supply system supplies, to a pressurization object device, flowing air that includes at least one of compressed air, which is generated by compressing air supplied from an air supply source, or discharged air from a turbocharger compressor forming a turbocharger. The compressor is controlled such that a saturated steam temperature of the flowing air supplied from the air supply source to the pressurization object device is lower than a temperature in the pressurization object device, at startup.
Additive heat exchanger and method of forming
An electroformed heat exchanger suitable for use between rotating blades and seals in a stationary casing of a turbine engine. The heat exchanger comprising a non-electroformed carrier plate having a radial outer surface and a radial outer surface, an electroformed duct provided along the radial outer surface, an electroformed rail provided on the radial inner surface, and an electroformed stiffener formed by a portion of the electroformed duct and the electroformed rail.

Combined heat and power system
A combined heat and power system comprises a shaft (4), a compressor (6) coupled to the shaft to compress intake gas to form compressed gas; a recuperator (10) to heat the compressed gas to form heated compressed gas; a combustor (12) to combust a fuel and the heated compressed gas to form combustion gas; a turbine (8) coupled to the shaft to expand the combustion gas to form exhaust gas; a load (24) coupled to the shaft; an exhaust outlet (18) to expel the exhaust gas to a heater for heating a fluid based on heat from the exhaust gas; a recuperator channel (28) providing a path for the exhaust gas to flow from the turbine to the exhaust outlet through the recuperator; and a bypass channel (22) providing a path for the exhaust gas to flow from the turbine to the exhaust outlet bypassing the recuperator.

Fuel/air supply device
A fuel/air supply device including a fuel supply arrangement designed to convey fuel to a fuel outlet of the fuel/air supply device, a primary air supply arrangement designed to convey air to an air outlet of the fuel/air supply device, and a secondary air supply arrangement connecting the primary air supply arrangement to the fuel supply arrangement at a position upstream of a fuel compressor that is included in the fuel supply arrangement. The secondary air supply arrangement includes an air conduit that has a restricted portion for defining a relatively small air passage in the air conduit, and can be used for realizing a fuel/air mixture of low calorific value if so desired on the basis of a supply of air to the fuel without needing complex control measures.

Combined energy storage turbine and simple cycle peaker system
In an embodiment, a gas turbine system is provided. The gas turbine system may include a supplementary air system and a flow diffuser configured to receive compressed air from the supplementary air system. The gas turbine system further comprises a gas turbine compressor downstream the flow diffuser, a combustor downstream the gas turbine compressor, a turbine downstream the combustor, and a turbine haft. The turbine shaft comprises a thrust bearing and a clutch. When the gas turbine system is operating, the gas turbine compressor does not consume electricity.
