Assembly for an aircraft, the assembly including a pylon and a tank containing an extinguisher fluid

An assembly for an aircraft, the assembly including a pylon with a lateral wall pierced by a window, a tank with a neck blocked by a film and carrying a first anchoring arrangement, and a fixing arrangement for fixing at least a part of the tank bearing the neck inside the pylon, a discharge pipe, and a discharge head. The head includes an explosive cartridge and a hole with a second anchoring arrangement in which discharges the discharge pipe. The discharge head is fixed inside the pylon facing the window. The explosive cartridge is designed to generate in the hole a shockwave sufficient to rupture the film. An assembly of this kind enables simple and rapid removal of the tank from and installation thereof inside the pylon.

Labyrinth barrier with members constructed of a shape memory material
11592112 · 2023-02-28 · ·

A labyrinth barrier is disclosed and comprises two or more members each defining respective vertical axes. One or more of the members are constructed at least in part of a shape memory material having a first energy state and a second energy state. The members are oriented relative to one another by their respective vertical axes in an original state to create a flow pathway that restricts fluid flow in a direction transverse to the respective vertical axes. The members are urged towards one another to further restrict the flow pathway when the shape memory material transitions from the first energy state to the second energy state.

COLOR VARYING RANDOM EVENT-DETERMINING GAMING OBJECTS

A game object is used as a moving object to provide a random outcome event by movement and final stoppage in an outcome indicating position or mode. Examples are die, dice, balls, roulette balls, roulette wheels and pointers on candy wheel. The object has: A) a game object body; B) the game object body containing an accelerometer microchip or a receiver in communication with a transmitter, power source and light-emitting elements within the game object body, light from the light-emitting body being visible outside the game object body; and C) the microchip closing an electronic circuit for a period of time less than 5 minutes after the game body is moved.

ASSEMBLY OF AT LEAST ONE EXTINGUISHING AGENT TANK IN THE INTERIOR OF AN AIRCRAFT STRUT
20230233892 · 2023-07-27 ·

An assembly of at least one extinguishing agent tank in the interior of an aircraft strut. The strut has an elongate chamber form extending in a longitudinal direction and includes a plurality of ribs which are spaced apart and arranged in parallel along the strut, each extending orthogonally to the longitudinal direction. The ribs are covered by lateral walls, at least one of the walls comprising a window opening into a space between two consecutive ribs, and via which a spherical extinguishing agent tank is installed in the interior of the strut. The assembly of the tank on the strut includes a frame arranged in the interior of the strut, facing the window and secured on each of the two consecutive ribs. The frame forms a support area on which the tank is supported. A system locks the extinguishing agent tank on the frame.

ASSEMBLY HAVING A STRUCTURE AND A RESERVOIR FASTENED TO THE STRUCTURE AND CONTAINING AN EXTINGUISHING FLUID

An assembly having a chassis, two supports with a plate and a guide, a nesting system with a bore, a reservoir containing an extinguishing fluid and with two fastening tabs, two bearing tabs and a peg, and a fastener. The reservoir is able to move in translation between a premounting position in which each fastening and bearing tab rests on a plate and each guide guides the fastening and bearing tabs to align the peg and the bore, and a mounting position in which each fastening tab rests on the plate, the peg is introduced into the bore, the bearing tabs no longer rest on the plates and the fastener fastens each fastening tab to the plate. Such an assembly allows the reservoir to be withdrawn and put in place quickly and easily.

Fireproof assembly

A fireproof assembly for an aircraft engine, comprises a fireproof housing having an internal volume and an opening. A fireproof internal shield is located within the fireproof housing. The internal shield divides the volume into a first sub-volume and a second sub-volume, the first sub-volume configured for receiving a component of the aircraft engine. A non-fireproof component seals the opening of the fireproof housing. Fireproof fasteners are used to support internal shield inside the housing.
