Control method of engine system, and engine system
11703007 · 2023-07-18 · ·

A control method of an engine system is a method of controlling the engine system including an engine with a combustion chamber; a fuel injection valve configured to supply fuel to the engine; and an air-fuel ratio sensor provided in a flow path of exhaust gas from the engine. In the control method, feedback control is performed so that an air-fuel ratio in the combustion chamber becomes a target value by controlling the fuel injection valve, using an air-fuel ratio measured value obtained by the air-fuel ratio sensor. In the feedback control, a transfer function is used, the transfer function being obtained by system identification of a plant having the air-fuel ratio in the combustion chamber serve as an input and the air-fuel ratio measured value obtained by the air-fuel ratio sensor serve as an output. In the control method, a filtering process is performed to an air-fuel ratio measured value used in the feedback control, the filtering process cutting a component having a response speed faster than a delay indicated by the transfer function.

HUMIDITY SENSOR DIAGNOSIS DEVICE

A diagnostic function of a humidity sensor is exposed to the outside and the humidity sensor is likely to deteriorate.

An aspect of the present invention includes: a capacitance-voltage conversion circuit which includes a plurality of reference capacitors having different pieces of capacitance and a switch which switches the reference capacitors and outputs a voltage according to the capacitance of a humidity sensor; and a diagnosis unit which compares an output voltage of the capacitance-voltage conversion circuit with a reference voltage obtained from a reference characteristic of the humidity sensor and diagnoses the humidity sensor based on a comparison result. Also, the diagnosis unit changes the output voltage by changing the capacitance of the capacitance-voltage conversion circuit using the switch in a state in which the output voltage of the capacitance-voltage conversion circuit is within a certain range and compares the changed output voltage with the reference voltage.

Provided is a vehicle-mounted system capable of transmitting a command to a first system from a second system during a period in which the first system communicates with the second system according to a unidirectional communication protocol. A vehicle-mounted system 100 includes a sensor 10 (first system) and an ECU (second system). The sensor 10 outputs a message signal including a pause pulse to the communication line DATA according to SENT (a unidirectional communication protocol). The ECU 20 is connected to the communication line DATA, and transmits a command to the sensor 10 using the falling period of the pause pulse.

Method for sensing damage of bearing of engine using vibration signal

A method for sensing damage of bearing of engine using a vibration signal may include separating a vibration signal of an engine sensed by a vibration sensor installed at one side of the engine of a vehicle into a vibration signal by combustion knocking and a vibration signal of a bearing installed between a crank pin and a connecting rod; extracting, by a signal processing filter, a signal of a predetermined natural frequency band from the vibration signal of the bearing; determining whether the vibration signal of the bearing is higher than a predetermined bearing damage threshold, in a predetermined engine state condition in order to sense breakage of the bearing during operation of the engine; and confirming that the bearing has been damaged.

A system and methods for a turbo-boost control system are disclosed for providing a driver of a vehicle with greater control over vehicle performance. The turbo-boost control system instructs an electronic control unit of the vehicle to increase the manifold pressure to a higher level before releasing the pressure through a waste gate so as to provide a greater power output of the engine. The turbo-boost control system includes a control module, a wiring harness, and a signal adjuster. The wiring harness couples the control module with a turbo inlet pressure sensor, a manifold absolute pressure sensor, and an electronic control unit of the vehicle. The control module sends signals to the electronic control unit based on input readings from the turbo inlet pressure sensor and the manifold absolute pressure sensor. The signal adjuster includes a rheostat that enables manual adjustment of the power output of the engine.

CONTROL DEVICE FOR DIESEL ENGINE

When a diesel engine is determined to be in a motoring state, a hysteresis zero angle H.sub.0 is determined (step S14). Subsequently, a gradient d.sub.n is calculated (step S16). The gradient d.sub.n is calculated based on data (θ.sub.n, Δh.sub.n) of a deviation Δh.sub.n at a retardation side from the hysteresis zero angle H.sub.0 and at an advance side from a predetermined crank angle. Subsequently, the gradient d.sub.n and the hysteresis zero angle H.sub.0 are updated (step S18). When the diesel engine is determined to be in a non-motoring state, data (θ.sub.n, P.sub.n) of an actual in-cylinder pressure is corrected based on a newest correction coefficient η and hysteresis zero angle H.sub.0 (step S22).
