Closed-loop control method for EFI internal combustion engine on an unmanned aerial vehicle

The present invention provides a closed-loop control method for an electronic fuel injection piston-engine on an unmanned aircraft consisting of the following steps: determination of a set of control coefficients; preliminary determination of fuel injection flow; determination of the injection limit; determination of the actual injectable value; perform fuel injection; the opening of the air intake valve is controlled to ensure that the fuel-air ratio always remains within a specified range. The present invention also provides a method for modeling the operation of an engine at each operating range. In addition, the method of physically simulating the operating conditions according to the pressure ranges of the engine is also proposed. The simulation method to find the control coefficients corresponding to each operating model of the engine is presented, the fuel injection closed-loop control structure is built on a control simulation software.

System and method for detecting damage to bearing of engine using knocking sensor

A method for detecting damage to a bearing of an engine using a knocking sensor includes a data storing step, which stores a vibration signal output from the knocking sensor in a data storing unit, a by-frequency amplitude calculating step, which performs Fast Fourier Transform (FFT) for the vibration signal and calculates an amplitude for each frequency, a detection frequency integrating step, which obtains a detection frequency integration value by adding all amplitudes of detection frequencies, a noise determining step, which determines whether the vibration signal is the vibration signal irrelevant to damage to the bearing by determining whether exclusion frequencies correspond to a preset condition, a counter increasing step, which increases a damage counter, when the detection frequency integration value is greater than a preset damage threshold, and a damage confirming step, which confirms damage to the bearing, when the damage counter equals or exceeds a preset confirmation counter.

A system for supplying hydrogen gas to an engine is disclosed. The system includes a main line configured to send hydrogen gas produced in a hydrogen gas producer by electrolysis to a supply line; a sub-line configured to send hydrogen gas from a hydrogen absorbing alloy cylinder to the main line, a governor configured to maintain an engine rotation speed within certain range; and a control device. The governor sends a signal corresponding to the engine rotation speed to the control device. A pressure regulating valve is disposed in the sub-line to be downstream with respect to the hydrogen absorbing alloy cylinder to regulate a supply amount of added hydrogen. An opening degree of the valve is adjusted based on a signal from the control device corresponding to the opening degree of the valve for supplying the added hydrogen with an amount according to a load state of the engine.
