At least one of the valve rotor and the valve chamber comprises a protrusion and the other comprises a recess, wherein, in the first position, the protrusion and recess are spaced from one another, and, in the second position the recess receives the protrusion such that gas flow between the protrusion and recess is substantially prevented.
Fluid supply system having shutoff valve with stabilized electrical valve actuator

A vibration-damping reinforced grommet may be clamped between the solenoid subassembly and the clamp.
Valve assembly and method
Embodiments of the present disclosure present a valve assembly that includes a valve body having a gas passage bore, a valving bore extending along a longitudinal axis and intersecting the gas passage bore, a first bearing surface concentric with the longitudinal axis and a radially spaced apart second bearing surface concentric with the longitudinal axis, wherein an interface of the gas passage bore and the valving bore defines a flow port radially intermediate the first bearing surface and the second bearing surface. The valve assembly further includes a shaft valve extending along the longitudinal axis and rotatably mounted in the valving bore.
Auto throttle and exhaust flow control module construction
A fluid flow control unit, in a preferred embodiment, mounted on a section of pipe having a tubular wall forming a fluid flow passage with a flow axis, the unit having a gate section, and a gate pivot section, the pivot section having a body portion mounted on the pipe outer wall surface, a gate mounting cavity formed in the body portion and opening through the pipe wall and providing an access port for the gate section to the mounting cavity, a pivot shaft positioned in the cavity and mounted on bearing structure on the body portion, the diameter of the shaft being dimensioned to allow a laterally curved gate which is affixed to a surface portion of the shaft to pivot up against a ceiling of the pipe to thereby be out of the flow passage main stream at a full open, non-blocking position of the gate, and a gate position control structure on the unit for allowing predetermined degrees of rotation of the pivot shaft in response to the magnitude of fluid flow pressure forces directed against the gate.

Valve device
A valve device includes a housing, a valve member, a valve seat member, a fixing member for fixing the valve seat member to the housing, and a housing-side seal portion. The housing has a valve chamber, and a housing-space inner wall forming a housing space communicating with the valve chamber. The housing-side seal portion blocks a flow of fluid between the valve seat member and the housing-space inner wall. The valve seat member has a tubular portion and a flange portion connected to the tubular portion. The flange portion is interposed between a facing surface of the housing-space inner wall and the fixing member in an axial direction. The fixing member is fixed to the housing-space inner wall in an airtight state. The housing-side seal portion is made of a rubber material and is interposed between the flange portion and the fixing member.

Rotary Valve
A rotary turbine bypass valve comprises a valve chamber and a valve rotor. The chamber is positioned at a junction of an inlet port, an outlet port and a bypass port. The inlet port is configured to receive exhaust gas, the outlet port is configured to fluidly communicate with a turbine inlet, and the bypass port is configured to fluidly communicate with an exhaust aftertreatment device.
