TURBINE ENGINE AND METHOD OF ASSEMBLING
A turbine engine that includes a stationary assembly, and a rotor assembly configured to rotate relative to the stationary assembly. The rotor assembly includes a plurality of unitary turbine and fan blades. Each unitary turbine and fan blade includes a single turbine airfoil, a single fan airfoil positioned radially outward from the single turbine airfoil, and a midspan shroud segment defined between the single turbine airfoil and the single fan airfoil.
THREE-STREAM GAS TURBINE ENGINE CONTROL
A control system and schemes for controlling a three-stream gas turbine engine are disclosed. In one aspect, a three-stream engine is architecturally arranged so as to define a primary bypass flowpath, a secondary bypass flowpath, and a core flowpath that may each output propulsive thrust. The three-stream engine includes one or more effectors that can be controlled to adjust a thrust contribution provided by the secondary bypass flowpath to the net propulsive thrust as well as a thermal contribution provided by the secondary bypass flowpath to an associated thermal management system. Competing demands, limits, and priorities can be considered in controlling the effector. In some embodiments, a secondary effector can be ganged or controlled in conjunction with the effector to assist with adjustment of the contributions provided by the secondary bypass flowpath.
Anti-unstart for combined cycle high mach vehicles
Vehicles, such as aircraft, may include turbine-based combined cycle power plants (TBCC) for power to achieve high-mach speeds. An anti-unstart configuration provides control for transitioning between the amount of air directed to either engine during operation of gas turbine engine and scramjet engines, to avoid unstart during operation above sonic speeds.

TURBOFAN GAS TURBINE ENGINE WITH COMBUSTED COMPRESSOR BLEED FLOW
A gas turbine engine includes a core section including a compressor, a main combustor, and a main turbine. Combustion products from the main combustor drive rotation of the turbine and the compressor. A power turbine is fluidly connected to the main turbine and driven by exhaust from the main turbine. The gas turbine engine further includes a fan section having a fan rotor located fluidly upstream of the core section. The power turbine is operably connected to the fan rotor to drive rotation of the fan rotor via rotation of the power turbine. The gas turbine engine includes a bleed arrangement having one or more bleed passages configured to divert a bleed airflow from the compressor around the main combustor and main turbine, and reintroduce the bleed airflow into the power turbine.
