CHARGE FORMING DEVICE WITH ADJUSTABLE VALVE LIMITER
A charge forming device may have a rotatable fuel adjustment valve received in a passage of a body of the device. A limiter cap may have a driving feature engageable with a drive feature on the valve and having a first position permitting rotation of the valve relative to the limiter cap and a second position permitting only lesser rotation of the valve than that of the first portion. The limiter cap may have a tamper restraint feature that retains the lesser range of rotation.
Mixture formation unit and two stroke engine having a mixture formation unit
A mixture formation unit has a base body in which an intake channel section is formed. The intake channel section extends from a first end side of the base body to a second end side of the base body. The mixture formation unit has at least one rectilinearly extending channel which opens into the intake channel section. The channel opens at the first end side of the base body. The mixture formation unit is preferably provided for a two stroke engine whose intake channel is divided downstream of the mixture formation unit into a mixture channel and an air channel.
Charge forming device with adjustable valve limiter
In at least some implementations, a limiter cap assembly for a carburetor having a cavity in which one or more adjustable valves are received, includes a plug adapted to be received within a cavity of the carburetor and having an opening and a cavity aligned with the opening, a clasp engageable with the plug and having at least one retention feature and an opening aligned with the opening of the plug, and a limiter cap received within the opening of the plug and engaged with the retention feature of the clasp. Removal of the limiter cap from the plug opening is prevented by engagement of the retention feature with the limiter cap and by engagement of the clasp with the plug.

Electronic controlled fuel enrichment system
An apparatus for delivering a fuel-air mixture to an engine is provided. The apparatus includes: a carburetor having one or more passages and one or more chambers, wherein at least some of the passages and chambers are in communication with one another; and a fluid pump communicated with the carburetor and pumping fluid into or out of the carburetor to influence an fuel-to-air ratio of a fuel and air mixture delivered from the carburetor.
Air-fuel ratio detection device and air-fuel ratio detection method
When an air-fuel ratio detection performed by detecting an output of a downstream sensor, which is a limiting-current type air-fuel ratio sensor arranged at a downstream side of a catalyst in an exhaust passage of an internal combustion engine, and calculating an air-fuel ratio at the downstream side of the catalyst in accordance with the output, if the output is within a predetermined range including an output corresponding to a theoretical air-fuel ratio, a relationship between the output and an air-fuel ratio that is calculated by calculation means is shifted more to a rich side relative to a correspondence relationship between an output of an upstream sensor, which is a similar sensor to the downstream sensor arranged at an upstream side of the catalyst in the exhaust passage of the engine, and an air-fuel ratio.
