INJECTOR
An injector for injecting fuel including an injector housing, a movable nozzle needle with a nozzle needle tip arranged in the injector housing, and a nozzle needle seat for receiving the nozzle needle tip. A contact pairing of the nozzle needle and the nozzle needle seat here represents a mechanical switch that adopts a closed state upon contact of the nozzle needle tip with the nozzle needle seat and an open state upon interruption of the contact. Provision is additionally made that the injector has an input line and an output line for controlling movement of the nozzle needle, the switch has a first connector connected to the input line and a second connector connected to the injector housing, and a resistor connected between the first connector of the switch and the input line.

Fuel Injector and Nozzle Passages Therefor
A fuel injector for an internal combustion engine. The fuel injector has a needle and a nozzle that inter-relate with each other in assembly. Relative movement between the needle and nozzle bring the fuel injector between a closed state of operation and an open state of operation amid use of the fuel injector. The nozzle has one or more passages therein through which fuel is discharged.
GASOLINE DIRECT-INJECTION RAIL
To make it possible to prevent damage to a brazed part without increasing the thickness of a rail body even when the rail body and an end cap are fixed to each other by brazing, in view of high-pressure gasoline direct injection systems of the future. A gasoline direct injection rail comprising end caps 2 disposed inside respective ends of a rail body 1, with an outer circumference 3 of each end cap 2 and an inner circumference 4 of the rail body 1 being fixed to each other by brazing, wherein a reinforcing ring 6 having an axial length L of L5 mm is provided on the outer circumference 3 of the rail body 1; a first end 10 on an end cap 2 side of the reinforcing ring 6 is positioned so as not to overlap a brazed part 12 between the rail body 1 and the end cap 2; a distance X from the first end 10 of the reinforcing ring 6 to a distal end 13 of the brazed part 12 is 0 mmX15 mm; and a thickness of the reinforcing ring 6 is 40% or more of a thickness of the rail body 1.
