Reconfigurable surgical frame and method for use thereof
A surgical frame and method for use thereof is provided. The surgical frame is capable of reconfiguration before, during, or after surgery. The surgical frame includes a main beam that can be rotated, raised/lowered, and tilted upwardly/downwardly to afford positioning and repositioning of a patient supported thereon. The main beam is capable of be reconfigured between a left configuration and a right configuration to support the patient in different positions thereon.
Fuel Vaporizer System with Fuel Injection
A fuel vaporizer including fuel injectors is described herein. The vaporizer includes a housing having a plurality of baffles defining a plurality of chambers, with each of the plurality of baffles defining an aperture between adjacent chamber, and the apertures define a flow path from the air inlet, through the plurality of chambers, and to the vapor outlet. A conduit extends through the baffles and chambers, and the conduit is adapted to accept a flow exhaust gas and transfer thermal energy from the exhaust gas to an airflow along the flow path A fuel injector is positioned in the housing to inject fuel into the flow path in the first chamber, the thermal energy from the conduit vaporizing the fuel injected into the airflow and producing the flow of vaporized fuel. The fuel vaporizer may include a heat exchanger pre-heating the airflow and electric heating elements supplementing the conduit heating.

Method and apparatus for setting the ignition property of a fuel
The ignition characteristics of a fuel are adjusted using a unit which has a distribution zone, a oxidation zone and a conversion zone. Fuel is distributed in the distribution zone having a distribution structure. A portion of the fuel is oxidised in the oxidation zone with a oxidising agent on a catalyst on a catalyst carrier, and a portion of the distributed fuel and/or of another supplied fuel is thermally and/or catalytically converted in the conversion zone. The ignition characteristics of the fuel are adjusted via: the molar ratio of oxygen included in the oxidising agent to the oxygen required for the complete oxidation of the fuel provided; and/or via the pressure in the unit; and/or the dwell time; and/or the temperature. Exhaust emissions, in particular NOx and soot emissions, can be lowered.

Fuel vaporizer for fuel injected engines and utility applications
A fuel vaporizer comprises a primary vaporization chamber comprising a heating chamber fluidly coupled to a fuel tank. The heating chamber is configured to receive a liquid fuel from the fuel tank and vaporize the liquid fuel into a fuel vapor and discharge the fuel vapor to an intake line of a utility application. A heating source is thermally coupled to the heating chamber. The heating source is configured to heat the liquid fuel to produce the fuel vapor. An air supply is fluidly coupled to the heating chamber, the air supply is configured to inject air bubbles into the liquid fuel. A secondary vaporization chamber is fluidly coupled to the intake line, at least one ultrasonic transducer is coupled to the secondary vaporization chamber and configured to vaporize the liquid fuel in communication with the secondary vaporization chamber.
