FUEL SYSTEM DIAPHRAGM VALVE
A fuel line check valve system and a fuel system that includes the fuel line diaphragm valve system are described. The fuel line diaphragm valve system may prevent flow into a fuel system that is generated via a vacuum in the fuel system. The fuel line diaphragm valve may also remain in an open state after it is open via a reduced pressure.
Dual-fuel internal combustion engine
A dual-fuel internal combustion engine includes: cylinders for combusting a first liquid fuel having a first ignitability in a first operating mode, and a second liquid fuel having a second lesser ignitability, in a second operating mode; a main injection system including a main injector for each cylinder, for feeding the first liquid fuel to the respective cylinders in the first operating mode and for feeding the second liquid fuel to the respective cylinders in the second operating mode; and a pilot injection system including a pilot injector for each cylinder, via which the first liquid fuel can is feedable to the respective cylinders in the second operating mode for igniting the second liquid fuel. The main and pilot injection systems are coupled such that in the second operating mode the first liquid fuel, is feedable to the respective main injector as a working fluid and/or a barrier fluid.
Internal combustion engine
An internal combustion engine with at least one combustion chamber, at least one fuel delivery line for the delivery of fuel to at least one combustion chamber, and at least one differential pressure control valve for controlling the pressure in the at least one fuel delivery line. The at least one differential pressure control valve is configured to perform a valve opening or valve closing movement based on a pressure difference between the at least one fuel delivery line and a reference volume having a reference pressure. The internal combustion engine further includes at least one pressure relief valve, separate from the at least one differential pressure control valve, and configured to open to cause a pressure relief in the reference volume and a decrease in the reference pressure if a drop occurs in the power to be performed by the internal combustion engine.
Fuel supply device
A fuel supply device includes a fuel supply passage, a fuel pump, a pressure-regulating valve, and a housing. The fuel supply passage is in communication with the fuel injector. The fuel pump pumps the fuel to the fuel supply passage. The pressure-regulating valve regulates the pressure of the fuel in the fuel supply passage. The housing is disposed in the fuel tank. The housing accommodates the fuel pump and the pressure-regulating valve. The fuel supply passage is formed within the housing. The pressure-regulating valve is connected to an end portion of the fuel supply passage formed in the housing. The volume of the end portion of the fuel supply passage in the housing is configured to increase with increasing pressure of the fuel.
Drawdown compressor assembly
A drawdown compressor assembly for recovering natural gas from a gas line includes a first tubing configured for connection to a first pipe of the gas line at a one end of the first tubing. A compressor is attached to an opposite end of the first tubing and configured to draw natural gas from the first pipe through the first tubing and into the compressor for being compressed by the compressor. A second tubing is connected to the compressor at one end of the second tubing and configured for connection to a second pipe of the gas line at an opposite end of the second tubing. Activation of the compressor draws the natural gas from the first pipe through the first tubing and delivers compressed natural gas to the second pipe through the second tubing.
Fuel pump systems
A fuel pump system, comprising an inlet line and a motorized pump, a first selector valve in fluid communication with an inlet line at a first inlet port and in fluid communication with the motorized pump outlet via a first outlet branch at a second inlet port to receive fuel from the motorized pump outlet. The system can also include a main fuel pump in fluid communication with the first selector valve and a second selector valve, wherein the second selector valve can be in fluid communication with the main fuel pump and in fluid communication with the motorized pump outlet.
PRESSURE REGULATOR AND FUEL PUMP MODULE HAVING THE SAME
Provided is a pressure regulator and a fuel pump module having the same, which may be easily assembled by including fewer components, the pressure regulator including: a first housing including a guide part positioned therein and guiding movement of a valve, and an outlet part communicating with an inner space thereof and discharging a fluid; a second housing coupled to the first housing, having a valve accommodating space, including a valve seating part, and including an inlet part introducing a fluid; a valve positioned in the valve accommodating space, and moved to thus open and close a fluid flow; and an elastic member interposed between the valve and the first housing to bring the valve into close contact with the valve seating part.
Tolerance and wear compensation of a fuel pump
A method determines an inflection point OP of a parameter profile i, n which is representative of a component tolerance and a state of wear of a fuel pump. The fuel pump is provided for a fuel supply system for use in a device equipped with an internal combustion engine. The device being a passenger car, utility vehicle and/or a stationary or mobile power generator.
FUEL SUPPLY DEVICE
A fuel supply device includes a sub-tank, a pump unit, a jet pump, and a connection structure connected with the pump unit and the jet pump. The connection structure has a guide part that is provided to the pump unit and guides the pressurized fuel toward the bottom in an axial direction, a pressurizing part that is provided to the jet pump and is fitted to the guide part from a side of the bottom in an axially slidable manner, to which the pressurized fuel is guided from the guide part, a shock-absorbing member that has a low spring constant that is predetermined and mitigates an axial impact between the guide part and the pressurizing part, and a sealing member that has a high spring constant higher than the low spring constant of the shock-absorbing member and radially seals a space between the guide part and the pressurizing part.
