Valve system of vehicle fuel pump
A valve system of a vehicle fuel pump includes: a reservoir cup disposed within a fuel tank storing fuel in the reservoir cup; a fuel pump configured to pump fuel from the reservoir cup to the engine while supplying fuel to a jet pump through a first discharge port; a jet pump configured to charge the reservoir cup with fuel by drawing fuel from the fuel tank by using a pressure of fuel supplied by the fuel pump; and a jet pump control valve disposed on the first discharge port and configured to control a flow of fuel discharged from the fuel pump to the jet pump.
FUEL MANAGEMENT SYSTEM CAPABLE OF FREELY PERFORMING TRANSFER OF FUEL AMONG A PLURALITY OF FUEL TANKS
A fuel management system including a fuel pump and a flow meter to transfer and control remaining amounts fuel among fuel tanks mounted on a hull of a marine vessel includes first fuel flow channels corresponding to the fuel tanks to connect the fuel tanks to an upstream side of the fuel pump and the flow meter, and second fuel flow channels corresponding to the fuel tanks to connect the fuel tanks to a downstream side of the fuel pump and the flow meter.

PAY BY PLATE
Systems and methods for streamlined vehicle fueling and payment are provided. In an example, the present disclosure is directed to an automated, seamless payment system for use at a gas station or convenience store. In particular, the application is related to a payment system for use at a pay at pump arrangement that does not require the user to provide a specific payment method at the time of the gas pump use.
FLUID DRIVEN DIAPHRAGM PUMP
In at least some implementations, a method of forming a diaphragm for a liquid pump, includes clamping a substantially planar piece of material about a periphery, and plastically deforming the piece of material inboard of the clamped periphery. In at least some implementations, the material is plastically deformed by pressing a forming member against the material, or the material is plastically deformed by applying a fluid under pressure against the material.

FUEL SYSTEM WITH VAPOR MANAGEMENT
A fuel system, including a first pump, a second pump and a filter module. The filter module has a housing defining an interior, a filter received in the interior, a filter inlet through which fluid flows into the interior, a filter outlet from which fluid flows out of the interior, and a vent body received within the interior. The vent body has a passage and a vent orifice. The filter is arranged so that fluid that enters the filter inlet flows through the filter before flowing out of the filter outlet and the interior includes an upper portion arranged above a lower portion relative to the force of gravity, and the passage communicates with the filter outlet and with the lower portion of the interior and the vent orifice communicates with the passage and with the upper portion of the interior.
Fuel temperature estimation system
A storage device stores a first mapping that receives, as an input, first input variables including a previously estimated value for a fuel temperature variable, a pump variable on a state of a fuel pump, a first engine variable on a state of an engine, and an outside air temperature variable on an outside air temperature, and outputs the fuel temperature variable. Further, an execution device is configured to acquire the first input variables and estimate the fuel temperature variable by applying the acquired first input variables to the first mapping. Therefore, it is possible to estimate the fuel temperature variable by applying the first input variables to the first mapping even without providing a temperature sensor.
