A fuel injector includes a nozzle body, and spray ducts coupled to the nozzle body and in spray path alignment with spray orifices therein. A nozzle check is movable within the nozzle body to open and close the spray orifices. Each of the spray ducts defines a duct center axis, and includes a center body forming, together with a duct inner surface, a spray jet passage circumferential of the duct center axis and reduced in area in a direction of spray jet advancement from the nozzle body.
Low pressure fuel and air charge forming device for a combustion engine
A throttle body assembly for a combustion engine includes a throttle body having a pressure chamber including a supply of liquid fuel, and a throttle bore with an inlet through which air is received. A throttle valve is carried by the throttle body with a valve head movable relative to the throttle bore. A metering valve is coupled to the throttle body, and has a valve element that is movable between open and closed positions. A boost venturi is located in the throttle bore and has an inner passage that is open at both ends to the throttle bore. The boost venturi has an opening through which fuel flows into the inner passage when the valve element is in the open position, wherein fuel flows from the pressure chamber to the metering valve under the force of gravity or under a pressure of less than 6 psi.
Method for producing an injector
A method for producing an injector which is designed in particular to inject fuel into an induction pipe or directly into a combustion chamber of an internal combustion engine. The method includes providing an injector base element, providing a rod that is insertible into a through hole of the injector base element, producing a negative matrix of a spray orifice element on an axial end of the rod, inserting the rod into the through hole of the injector base element, positioning the negative matrix situated on the rod relative to the injector base element, producing the spray orifice element having at least one spray orifice by applying a galvanization layer on a downstream end, in the injection direction, of the injector base element and on the negative matrix, and removing the rod and the negative matrix.
Method and system for fuel combustion
A fuel injector assembly for an internal combustion engine includes a proximal end portion, a distal end portion, and a fuel injector extending at least to the distal end portion, the fuel injector including a fuel opening. The fuel injector assembly also includes a chamber formed between the proximal and distal end portions, a flame passage extending from the chamber to the distal end portion, and an atomizer configured to provide atomization of liquid fuel injected into the chamber.

EFI THROTTLE BODY WITH SIDE FUEL INJECTORS
An electronic fuel injection throttle body unit has a core body with two side components. The two side components each including a fuel delivery passage. Four air intake passages extending vertically through the throttle body. Valves are rotatable within the air intake passages. The valves being connected to valve shafts that rotate about respective valve shaft axes. The valve shaft axes and the fuel delivery passages are perpendicular to each other.

A top portion of the injector body includes a cylindrically formed generally open-ended recessed portion. The recessed portions accommodates a generally cylindrical pole piece, wherein the pole piece includes a bore located along a central axis to provide a fuel flow path. The top portion of the pole piece includes a cylindrically formed recess so as to form a sleeve or lip portion.
