The method comprising: controlling the powertrain to provide uninterrupted propelling torque on the first main shaft and/or on the connection shaft during a stand still condition of the output shaft of the gearbox and/or during a transition from a stand still condition to a rotational condition of the output shaft of the gearbox, and/or during gear shifting from one gear to another gear in the gearbox. The invention also relates to a vehicle comprising a powertrain, a computer program and a computer-readable medium.
VEHICLE ENGINE STARTING METHOD, SERIES HYBRID VEHICLE, AND VEHICLE ENGINE STARTING DEVICE
A engine starting method is carried out to start an engine of a vehicle. The vehicle includes a first hub, a second hub, and a damper. The damper connects the first hub and the second hub in a power transmission path between the engine and a generator capable of power generation and powered travel. The engine starting method determines whether or not the engine needs to be started, begins to crank the engine via the generator when the engine needs to be started, performs a first ignition when torque fluctuation caused by torsion in the first hub and the second hub is in a range of being absorbable by the damper during the cranking, and suppresses engine torque generated by the first ignition below engine torque generated by second and subsequent ignitions.
CONTROL APPARATUS FOR ELECTRIC VEHICLE
A control apparatus for an electric vehicle includes a first motor (traveling motor) for traveling, a battery (high-voltage battery), a second motor (generator motor) for electricity generation, an engine (rotary engine), a first controller (engine ECU), a second controller (motor ECU), and a sensor (voltage-current sensor). The second controller is configured to start the engine by causing the second motor to perform power running, cause the second motor to perform electricity generation driving such that the battery is charged, and adjust a stop position of the engine by causing the second motor to perform power running subsequently to a stop of the engine by the first controller in a case where a state of charge of the battery becomes high and the second motor finishes the electricity generation driving.
Method and device for controlling charging of vehicle battery
A method of controlling charging of a battery may include making, by a controller, the battery that supplies power to a drive motor start to be charged with a boosted voltage higher than a voltage of a fast charger by controlling a switch connecting the drive motor and the fast charger of a vehicle and a switch of an inverter driving the drive motor, for fast charging of the battery; determining, by the controller, whether a motor position sensor has failure according to an output signal of the motor position sensor which detects a position of the drive motor; engaging, by the controller, an engine clutch that is configured to connect or disconnect the engine of the vehicle and the drive motor, when the controller determines that the motor position sensor has the failure; and maintaining, by the controller, the fast charging for the battery when a rotation of the drive motor stops after the engine clutch is engaged.

A control unit for a hybrid drive of a vehicle is provided. The hybrid drive includes an internal combustion engine and an electric machine. The hybrid drive is designed in such a way that the electric machine is used for providing a drive torque of the vehicle and for starting the internal combustion engine. The control unit is configured to predict a start time, at which at least a part of the total power of the electric machine is available for a starting process of the internal combustion engine. Furthermore, the control unit is configured to start the internal combustion engine at the predicted start time by way of the electric machine.
Electromagnetic switch for a starting device
An electromagnetic switch for a starting device of an internal combustion engine may include a coil carrier, a coil winding, and a piston. The coil carrier may have a carrier wall which encloses a cavity. The coil winding may have a coil wire wound on a side of the carrier wall facing away from the cavity which provides a magnetic field within the cavity. The piston may be axially adjustable in the cavity. The piston may be disposed in a passive position and may be adjusted axially in a direction of a core.
