REMOTE START SYSTEM AND METHOD FOR A WORK MACHINE
A remote start system and method for a work machine wherein the system comprises a communication device, an engine starter subsystem, a fluid pressure sensor, and a controller. In a first step, controller receives a wake signal from the communication device, The controller then confirms the lock status of a safety lock on the work machine and outputs an engine start signal to the engine starter subsystem upon confirming the lock status. The controller then receives a fluid pressure signal from the fluid pressure sensor, and outputs an engine stop signal if the fluid pressure signal is below a predetermined threshold after a specified timeframe.
Outboard motor and control method for outboard motor
A controller performs hydrolock prevention control when an engine is started. The controller determines whether a crankshaft rotates a predetermined number of times upon starting the engine without ignition of the engine. The controller performs the ignition of the engine after the crankshaft rotates a predetermined number of times.
Ignition overcurrent protection device, starting power equipment and ignition overcurrent protection method
This present disclosure discloses an ignition overcurrent protection device, which includes a switch, a current detection circuit, and a controller. The switch is electrically coupled between a starting power and a power-on connector; the power-on connector is configured for connecting to the automotive power. The current detection circuit is configured for detecting a current value flowing between the starting power and the power-on connector. The controller is coupled to the switch and the current detection circuit. The controller is configured to determine a current range where the current value is located, and determine a preset time threshold corresponding to the current range, and control the switch to be turned off when a duration of the current value reaches the preset time threshold. The present disclosure also provides a starting power equipment and ignition overcurrent protection.
Vehicle starter with integrated thermal protection
A starter assembly which includes a switch for energizing a solenoid. Energizing the solenoid biases a starter gear into engagement and energizes the starter motor. A thermally responsive switch is positioned to absorb heat generated by operation of the electric motor and is disposed in an electrical line controlling operation of the switch controlling the solenoid wherein opening of the thermally responsive switch results in the opening of the solenoid switch. The use of such a thermally responsive switch de-energizes the electric motor when the electric motor is subjected to elevated operating temperatures that might otherwise cause damage to the electric motor. The starter assembly may also include control circuitry that includes a microprocessor wherein the control circuitry is operably coupled with the switch controlling the solenoid. The control circuitry is programmed to de-energize the solenoid upon the satisfaction of predetermined conditions to thereby prevent damage to the electrical motor.
Method and device for operating an internal combustion engine
In a method and a device for operating an internal combustion engine, with at least one cylinder (Z1-Z4) having a combustion chamber (26), fuel is injected into the cylinder and a logic value (LV_FCUT) is set, in particular for stopping the injection of fuel into the cylinder, The method furthermore has the following steps: depending on a course of the highly time-resolved measurement signal of a rotational speed (N_FAST) of the internal combustion engine, a local maximum value (N_FAST_MAX) of the rotational speed is determined, a rotational speed difference (N_FAST_DIF) between the local maximum value (N_FAST_MAX) and a current measured value (N_FAST_MES) of the rotational speed is determined, and, depending on the determined rotational speed difference (N_FAST_DIF), the logic value (LV_FCUT) is set.
STARTER SYSTEM HAVING CONTROLLING RELAY SWITCH
A starter system including a motor, a solenoid assembly having a solenoid switch, a pinion rotated by the motor and moveable into an engaging position in which an engine may be cranked and the solenoid switch is closed to energize the motor from an electric power source, and relay switch regulated by a controller and closed to apply electrical power to the solenoid assembly for actuating the solenoid switch. The controller repeatedly opens and closes relay switch during a starting operation if sensed motor energization voltage monitored by the controller falls below a predetermined threshold level within a predetermined time period after electrical power is applied to the solenoid assembly, whereby electrical power applications to the solenoid assembly are automatically repeated during a starting operation to correct “click-no-crank” events and prevent prolonged power application to the solenoid assembly. A related method is also disclosed.
Engine start control device
An engine start control device is provided with: a starter relay that is provided between a battery and a starter motor; a start abnormality determining means that determines the occurrence of start abnormality of an engine; and a start control means, which turns on the starter relay, and starts supplying power from the battery to the starter motor in the cases where a start instruction signal is inputted from a start switch, and which turns off the starter relay in the cases where the start abnormality determining means determined the occurrence of start abnormality of the engine.
Work machine for lessening damage resulting from an object coming into contact with work portion
A work machine determines, when a request to restart an engine is made, whether or not a reason indicated by stop information stored in a memory is a reason related to locking of the work portion. The machine sets an operation mode of the engine and a work portion to a safe mode if it determines that the reason indicated by the stop information is a reason related to locking of the work portion. The safe mode is an operation mode for lessening damage resulting from causing the engine and the work portion to work during the work portion locked or damage resulting from an object coming into contact with the work portion during the engine and the work portion working.
VEHICULAR APPARATUS
A vehicular apparatus receiving power from a battery mounted on a vehicle includes a main controller unit, a defect detection unit, and an operation controller unit. The operation controller unit is configured to turn off an operation of a target device among a plurality of devices controlled by the main controller unit in response to an occurrence of a voltage drop in which the voltage from the battery is equal to or lower than a predetermined threshold value. In response to turning off the operation of the target device due to the voltage drop, the operation controller unit is configured to transmit a notification indicating turning off of the operation of the target device to the defect detection unit. Upon receiving the notification, the defect detection unit is configured to cancel a determination of a defect relative to the target device.
