Energy conversion system for converting wind energy into electrical energy
An energy conversion system for converting wind energy into electrical energy includes at least one rotor having a substantially horizontal rotational axis and a plurality of rotor blades extending radially with respect to the rotational axis; a rotor mantle which fully surrounds the rotor; a plurality of wind funnels, including a first wind funnel arranged upstream of the rotor mantle and tapering towards the rotor mantle, and a second wind funnel arranged downstream of the rotor mantle and widening in a direction leading away from the rotor mantle; and a fixed frame which supports the rotor mantle and/or the plurality of wind funnels, wherein at least one adjustment device is provided, which is arranged and configured to orient the energy conversion system in a position corresponding to a prevailing wind direction.
Wind based electrical generation system for vehicles
The present invention relates to wind-based generation of electrical energy. By providing small individual generation units that can be combined to have inputs at one or more wind pressure peak areas on a vehicle and outlets at low pressure locations on a vehicle, it is possible to contribute substantial amounts of wind-generated electricity for powering the vehicle without creating equivalent offsetting aerodynamic drag.
WIND-SPEED ACCELERATING WIND TURBINE
A wind-speed accelerating wind turbine has the wind turbine installed in the nacelle, the nacelle has a front nacelle member having a cross-section area formed so as to linearly or curvilinearly contract from a wind inlet to an installed position of the wind turbine and has a rear nacelle member having the contracted cross-section area formed so as to linearly or curvilinearly expand or maintain the same cross-section area from the installed position of the wind turbine to a wind outlet, and a wind dispersion part or a wind dispersion shape is provided at the wind outlet of the rear nacelle member.
WIND TURBINE POWER GENERATION DEVICE
The wind turbine generator includes a rotating disk and a wind turbine generator including a wind turbine, a generator, and a wind collection body, and supports the wind turbine generator at a point away from a center of the rotating disk with a wind flow inlet of the wind collection body facing the center of the rotating disk.
SYSTEM FOR GENERATING ELECTRICITY
System for generating electricity from a fluid, the device comprising a wing profile structure comprising a first side configured to generate a low pressure and a second side configured to generate a high pressure from the fluid passing along the wing profile; wherein the first side comprises at least one first aperture; wherein the second side comprises at least one second aperture; wherein between the at least one first aperture and the at least one second aperture, a fluid connection is provided through the wing profile structure; wherein between the at least one first aperture and the at least one second aperture an electricity generating device is positioned such that fluid flowing from the second high pressure side to the first low pressure side through the fluid connection passes the electricity generating device for generating electricity from the passing fluid.
Power generation apparatus
A power generation apparatus includes a wind turbine unit including a first end and having one or more wind turbine blade units rotatably carried therein which are activated to rotate by wind/airflow moving therethrough. Each of the one or more turbine blade units is operably connected to a generator to generate electricity when the one or more wind turbine blade units rotate. An inlet funnel is axially aligned with the first end of the wind turbine unit when in an operative position. The inlet funnel is pivotally carried to pivot out of the operative position when wind/airflow increases excessively so that at least a portion of the wind/airflow is redirected and reduced from entering the wind turbine unit.
