Injection assembly, injection pump, and method for supply of additive to a fluid in a pipe

An injection assembly configured to supply an additive from a reservoir to a fluid in a pipe has a pipe portion and an injection pump. The injection pump has a linear motor comprising a stator and an armature reciprocatingly driven by the stator, and a pump portion comprising an additive inlet chamber. A piston coupled to the armature is configured to reciprocate in said inlet chamber, thereby alternatingly compressing and decompressing a volume of said inlet chamber, an additive outlet chamber in fluid communication with the pipe portion, and a bypass channel between the inlet and outlet chambers.

Borehole pump and method of using the same

A pump system for pumping liquid from a well into a pipe is disclosed. The pump system comprises: a suction cavity in fluid communication with the well via an inlet port controlled by an inlet port valve, a plunger, reciprocally movable within the suction cavity, and a delivery conduit. The delivery conduit is in fluid communication with the pipe via an outlet port, and with the suction cavity via a connection port controlled by a connection port valve. The pump system also comprises a tubular encapsulation, encapsulating the suction cavity, the plunger, the delivery conduit and the valves.

Actuator module

An electro-hydraulic linear actuator module comprising a stator having a cylindrical bore therethrough, a linear electric machine translator movable axially within the stator bore, a positive displacement chamber adjacent each end of the translator for holding, in use, an incompressible fluid, first and second fluid pathways, one to each chamber, for the flow of an incompressible fluid, wherein movement of the translator along the stator bore alters the volumes of the chambers.

Operating method and actuation device for a piston pump

The invention relates to a method for operating a piston pump (10) which is driven by means of a coil (1) of an electromagnet. A piston (2) of the piston pump (10) can be moved in a cylinder (3) for pumping purposes by means of the electromagnet. A voltage (U) is applied to the coil (1) during a switch-on period such that a current flows through the coil (1) and the piston (2) is accelerated, said voltage being applied by means of an actuation device (11). A time curve of an electric state variable (I, U) of the coil (1) is qualitatively detected, and the curve or a curve derived therefrom is analyzed in order to detect an impact of the piston (2) against a stop. The invention further relates to an actuation device and a piston pump.
