Pump using multi voltage electronics with run dry and over current protection
A pump system features a power adapter and a pump having a signal processor. The power adapter includes voltage settings that respond to a voltage setting by a user and provide a selected voltage. The signal processor receives signaling containing information about the selected voltage supplied to a motor to run the pump, and also containing information about whether a current draw of the pump is lower than a predetermined low current level or is higher than a predetermined high current level; and determines whether to shut off the pump after a predetermined time, based on the signaling received.
SYSTEM AND METHOD FOR OPERATING A PUMP IN A HUMIDIFIER
An arrangement for powering a pump in providing a controlled volume of water to a drip nozzle in a drip-feed humidifier. The pump arrangement including: a pump having a solenoid; a processing unit; and a power supply electrically connected to the solenoid via a switch which is controlled by the processing unit. The power supply is structured to supply power to the solenoid via the switch. The processing unit is programmed to modulate the power to the solenoid such that the pump is driven at or near a resonant frequency of the pump.
Method and device for controlling capacity change of compressor, and smart home appliance
A method and a device for controlling a capacity change of a compressor, and a smart home appliance. The method includes: determining whether a capacity of the compressor is required to be changed; if yes, determining an intermediate frequency; changing the capacity of the compressor while maintaining the operating frequency of the compressor at the intermediate frequency; and the maintaining the operating frequency of the compressor at the intermediate frequency reduces a sudden change in output of the compressor after the changing the capacity.
PUMP SYSTEMS AND METHODS TO IMPROVE PUMP LOAD PREDICTIONS
The disclosed embodiments include pump systems and methods to improve pump load predictions of pumps. The method includes determining, in a neural network, a pump load of a wellbore pump based on a physics based model of the pump load of the wellbore pump. The method also includes obtaining a measured pump load of the wellbore pump. After initiation of a pump cycle of the wellbore pump, the method further includes predicting a pump load of the wellbore pump based on the physics based model, performing a Bayesian Optimization to reduce a difference between a predicted pump load and the measured pump load to less than a threshold value, and improving a prediction of the pump load based on the Bayesian Optimization.
Variable displacement reciprocating piston unit generating piston stroke speed and piston stroke length signal
A variable displacement reciprocating piston unit includes a sensor probe, a target, a piston having a top dead center position and a bottom dead center position, and a signal processing unit. The sensor probe, the target, and the piston are located in relation to each other so that the target is moved from being absent from the sensor probe to being present at the sensor probe when the piston travels towards the top dead center position, and the target is moved from being present at the sensor probe to being absent from the sensor probe when the piston travels towards the bottom dead center position. The signal processing unit generates a signal indicating a stroke speed and a stroke length of the piston from a signal from the sensor probe indicating a presence and/or an absence of the target as the target moves relative to the sensor probe.

PREDICTING FRAC PUMP COMPONENT LIFE INTERVAL
Pump maintenance data associated with each of plural components of each of plural frac pumps of each of plural frac pump transports of a frac fleet is accessed. The pump maintenance data includes usage data of plural well completion operations performed by the frac fleet. The usage data indicates actual component life intervals of each of the plural components and corresponding operating conditions. The pump maintenance data is analyzed to generate a maintenance prediction model that is configured to output for each of the plural components, a predicted component life interval as a function of an operating condition. A current operating condition corresponding to a current well completion operation of the frac fleet is accessed. The maintenance prediction model is applied to generate the predicted component life intervals for each of the plurality of components of the frac fleet based on the current operating condition.

Automatic Initiation of Priming Sequence for Metering Pumps
Metering pumps are typically used to move a specified volume of liquid in a specified time to provide an accurate flow rate. A recurring automatic priming function is provided for operating such a metering pump by running the pump for a short duration and periodically thereafter. This may maintain fluid in the pumping system such that the pump is automatically in a primed configuration.
