Vacuum pump, temperature adjustment controller used for vacuum pump, inspection tool, and method of diagnosing temperature-adjustment function unit
A vacuum pump includes a control unit that monitors and controls a motor and a magnetic bearing, each being stored in a pump body. A temperature-adjustment function unit measures a temperature of the pump body by at least one temperature sensor disposed in the pump body and controls at least one heater or solenoid controlled valve based on the temperature. The temperature-adjustment function unit includes a first terminal capable of connecting or disconnecting the temperature sensor and a second terminal capable of connecting or disconnecting one of the heater and the solenoid controlled valve. A self-diagnosis unit capable of conducting a self-diagnosis of whether an input signal to the first terminal has been normally inputted or whether the signal has been normally outputted from the second terminal.
A METHOD FOR OPERATING AN ELECTRIC AIR COMPRESSOR ASSEMBLY
A method for operating an electric air compressor assembly. The assembly includes an electric motor and a compressor which is mechanically coupled to the electric motor and which is capable of providing compressed air to a tank The method comprises monitoring the temperature of at least one component of the electric air compressor assembly and controlling the motor speed as a function of said temperature running the motor at a first speed S1, which results in the temperature increasing; when the temperature reaches a temperature threshold, which is lower than a maximum admissible temperature, running the motor at a second speed S2>S1 until a predetermined desired pressure in the tank is reached.
PREDICTIVE PUMP MAINTENANCE BASED UPON UTILIZATION AND OPERATING CONDITIONS
A computer implemented method of predicting a future maintenance event of a pumping equipment on a wellbore pumping unit comprising loading a pump usage log and a pump maintenance log into a predictive maintenance model. The predictive maintenance model is trained by a machine learning process with a historical database of completed pumping jobs. The predictive maintenance model determines a probability of a future maintenance event in response to the current pump usage. The unit controller displays an alert of the remaining pump life in comparison to a threshold value for a recommended pump maintenance period or a required pump maintenance period.
Compressor having external temperature sensor and method of manufacturing compressor
A compressor includes a casing having a cylindrical portion, a compression mechanism fixed to an inner peripheral surface of the cylindrical portion, an external portion, a weld nut, and a bolt. The external portion includes a temperature reaction portion that reacts to a temperature change of the cylindrical portion. The external portion is mounted on an outer peripheral surface of the cylindrical portion. The weld nut is welded to the outer peripheral surface of the cylindrical portion to mount the external portion on the outer peripheral surface of the cylindrical portion. The bolt fixes the external portion to the weld nut.
FAULT DETECTION AND PREDICTION
A pump including one or more pumping chambers, one or more drive mechanisms for driving the one or more pumping chambers and a logic arrangement. The first pumping chamber of the one or more pumping chambers has a first inlet check valve, a first outlet check valve and a first temperature sensor. The logic arrangement is configured to identify a leak by applying logic to at least resistance-data indicative of a resistance of the first pumping chamber to the driving and temperature-data at least based on output from the first temperature sensor.
Compressor assembly with liquid sensor
A compressor may include a shell, a compression mechanism, first and second temperature sensors, and a control module. The shell may define a lubricant sump. The compression mechanism may be disposed within the shell and may be operable to compress a working fluid. The first temperature sensor may be at least partially disposed within the shell at a first position. The second temperature sensor may be at least partially disposed within the shell at a second position that is vertically higher than the first position. The control module may be in communication with the first and second temperature sensors and the pressure sensor and may determine whether a liquid level in the lubricant sump is below a predetermined level based on data received from the first and second temperature sensors.
System and Method for Measuring Discharge Parameters Relating to an Electric Submersible Pump
An electric submersible pump (ESP) monitoring system is described herein. The ESP monitoring system includes a base monitoring unit and a discharge monitoring unit that are communicably coupled via a ground path. The discharge monitoring unit is hydraulically coupled to the pump discharge and is configured to measure a discharge parameter relating to the pump discharge and transmit data corresponding to the discharge parameter to the base monitoring unit via the ground path. The base monitoring unit is electrically connected to the motor of the ESP system and is configured to measure a base parameter relating to the motor and/or the pump intake, receive the transmitted data corresponding to the discharge parameter from the discharge monitoring unit, combine the data corresponding to the discharge parameter and the data corresponding to the base parameter, and transmit the combined data to an ESP surface unit via an ESP power cable.
Method for controlling a compressor of a refrigeration system, and refrigeration system
Process for regulating a compressor with motor for a refrigerating system, where the temperature of the cooling site is regulated through an on-off motor mode if the temperature in the compressor exceeds an upper temperature threshold. In addition, the temperature of the cooling site is regulated through a continuous on mode of the motor as soon as the motor has cooled to a lower temperature threshold. The controller converts a variable corresponding to the cooling requirement of the cooling site into a switch signal for a valve, which results in clocked opening and closing of the valve, or uses a frequency converter, which controls the cooling liquid flow through the compressor by regulating the voltage and the frequency of the motor in that the frequency converter converts a variable corresponding to the cooling requirement of a cooling site into a voltage and a frequency for the motor.
Method for service life monitoring of a compressor for a compressed air system
A method for operating a compressor for a compressed air system of a motor vehicle, in particular an air suspension system, wherein an operating temperature of the compressor is determined and used as a criterion for the compressor to be operated until a switch-off temperature (T) is reached, wherein a switch-on duration (t) until reaching the switch-off temperature (T) is determined, and the determined switch-on duration (t) is adjusted by a parameter (LP) dependent on the switch-off temperature (T) reached.
