ELECTRONIC DEVICE WITH ACTUATING AND SENSING MODULE

An electronic device includes a casing, a compartment and an actuating and sensing module. The casing has an opening. The compartment is disposed within the casing and in communication with the opening of the casing. The actuating and sensing module is disposed within the compartment. The actuating and sensing module comprises a fluid transportation device and a sensor. The fluid transportation device is driven to transport a fluid from outside the casing into the compartment through the opening of the casing to make the fluid sensed by the sensor.

Methods and Apparatus for an Automated Fluid Pumping System

In a described example, an automated fluid pumping system (AFPS) includes a fluid pump coupled to a pump controller, an electronic sensor that detects air, oil, or water coupled to a sensor controller, and the sensor controller coupled to the pump controller. The pump controller is configured to control the operation of the fluid pump based on a detected fluid in the well as determined by the electronic sensor.

Disclosed herein is a compressor that includes a compression mechanism configured to suck and compress a refrigerant from a suction space to discharge the refrigerant to a discharge space by driving force transmitted thereto, an oil storage chamber provided in the discharge space to collect oil separated from the refrigerant discharged from the compression mechanism, an oil recovery passage configured to guide the oil in the oil storage chamber to the suction space, and a decompression mechanism provided in the oil recovery passage to reduce a pressure of the oil passing through the oil recovery passage by an orifice hole having an inner diameter smaller than the oil recovery passage, wherein the decompression mechanism is configured such that, when a pressure in the oil storage chamber is increased, the inner diameter of the orifice hole is reduced.

Method of controlling an air compressor of a vehicle

A method of controlling an air compressor of a vehicle. The absolute humidity is determined for atmospheric air entering the compressor as well as for the compressed air exiting the compressor. A liquid water mass formed or evaporated inside the compressor during a defined period of time is calculated. The above steps are repeated in order to calculate a cumulated liquid water mass inside the compressor. The compressor is stopped when the calculated cumulated liquid water mass has returned to zero and the control unit no longer receives a compressed air request.
