SUCTION ROD ASSEMBLY FOR WELL FLUID EXTRACTION AND RELATED METHODS
20220349395 · 2022-11-03 ·

The present invention provides a downhole suction rod pump assembly for use in pumping formation fluid from an oil well, and more specifically, provides a rotor operable to generate a vortex in a pump barrel without imparting torque to the plunger. The improvements to a suction rod pump assembly may be incorporated into any oil well pumping system having a linear rod and or rod string. The rotor vortex displaces formation fluid above a plunger assembly, thereby preventing heavier debris in the formation fluid from settling or lodging between a plunger and barrel boundary, thus extending the practical life of the pump.

High-Pressure Fuel Pump
20220049674 · 2022-02-17 ·

A high-pressure fuel pump includes a drive shaft, and a vane pump and a plunger pump which are driven by the drive shaft. The vane pump is configured to supply pre-pressurized fuel to the plunger pump. The drive shaft includes a cam configured to drive a piston rod of the plunger pump such that the plunger pump alternately executes a fuel suction stroke and a fuel discharge stroke. The drive shaft further includes a shaft portion for driving a rotor of the vane pump. The vane pump is configured such that for each fuel suction stroke of the plunger pump the vane pump provides a fuel supply cycle that is advanced by a phase angle relative to the fuel suction stroke.

COMBINATION METERING ASSEMBLY FOR FILLING LIQUID PRODUCTS INTO CONTAINERS

The invention relates to a combination metering assembly for filling liquid products into containers. The invention is characterised by a base unit (1) and pump components (3, 4, 5, 6, 11, 12, 13, 14) of at least two different pump types for a metering operation, wherein the pump components of each pump type can be combined with the base unit in order to form a pump system of the corresponding pump type, and the base unit has connection means (19, 23) for this purpose which are compatible with the connections of the pump components. The combination metering assembly can be adapted to different metering situations with little complexity and has a comparably small space requirement.

Systems and methods for an electrically driven direct injection fuel pump

Methods and systems are provided for operating an electric motor to drive either a transmission fluid pump or a direct injection fuel pump. In one example, a method may include operating an electric motor to drive a direct injection fuel pump to supply fuel to a direct injection fuel rail while an engine of a start/stop vehicle is on, and operating the electric motor to drive an auxiliary transmission fluid pump to circulate transmission fluid to a transmission rotationally coupled to the engine while the engine is off during an auto-stop. In this way, the direct injection fuel pump may be electrically driven without increasing vehicle costs through adding an additional electric motor.
