A compressor includes a low pressure stage having a low pressure cylinder, a high pressure stage having a high pressure cylinder, a low pressure piston guided in an axially movable manner in the low pressure cylinder, a high pressure piston guided in an axially movable manner in the high pressure cylinder, a piston rod rigidly connecting the low pressure piston and the high pressure piston, and a sliding block guide. The sliding block guide includes a recess arranged in the piston rod and further includes two substantially parallel sliding block tracks. One of the sliding block tracks has an arc-shaped indentation in a central portion. The sliding block tracks are constructed and such that a movement of the low pressure piston and of the high pressure piston follows a piston stroke curve that deviates from a regular sinusoidal stroke curve.
DEVICES AND METHODS FOR HANDLING A FLUID WORKING MEDIUM
A device includes at least one volume that comprises a liquid quantity of a liquid and a partial volume with a working medium. The device further includes multiple volume limiting elements which limit the at least one volume and which are configured such that one or more passages allow outflow of a maximum of a predetermined partial quantity of the liquid quantity during one or more of a compression period, an expansion period, or a displacement period. The liquid quantity performs a rotation about an axis of rotation. The multiple volume limiting elements are configured to prevent an annular flow of the liquid quantity about the axis of rotation. The at least one volume is changeable in terms of its overall size by displacement of at least one of the volume limiting elements.
DOUBLE-PISTON COMPRESSOR OF A COMPRESSED AIR SUPPLY DEVICE
A two-stage compressor of a compressed air supply device includes a low pressure stage having a low pressure cylinder, a high pressure stage having a high pressure cylinder, a low pressure piston guided in an axially movable manner in the low pressure cylinder, a high pressure piston guided in an axially movable manner in the high pressure cylinder, a piston rod rigidly connecting the low pressure piston and the high pressure piston, and a sliding block guide. DOUBLE-PISTON COMPRESSOR OF A COMPRESSED AIR SUPPLY DEVICE
A double-piston compressor of a compressed air supply device. The double-piston compressor includes a low pressure stage and a high pressure stage, each of the low pressure stage and the high pressure stage having a cylinder with a piston guided in an axially movable manner therein. A piston of the cylinder of the low pressure stage and a piston of the cylinder of the high pressure stage are drivingly connected to the drive shaft via a sliding block guide. Sliding block tracks of the sliding block guide are constructed and arranged such that, during operation of the double-piston compressor, a movement of the pistons follows a stroke curve that deviates from a regular sinusoidal stroke curve, which has an amplitude corresponding to an eccentricity of the drive element.
AIR MAINTENANCE PUMP ASSEMBLY
A pumping assembly keeps a pneumatic tire from becoming underinflated. The pumping assembly includes at least one pump attached to the tire rim, a cam fixed to the gravity mass for maintaining the cam in a fixed position relative to the gravity mass, and rollers for engaging the cam and producing the pumping action as the tire rim rotates and the gravity mass retards rotation of the cam.
