CAPACITY CONTROL VALVE

In a capacity control valve, a position of a valve element is changed by drawing a movable iron core to a fixed iron core with magnetic force by energization of an electromagnetic coil. The iron core on one side includes a projected portion on the radially outer side, the iron core on the other side includes a projected portion on the radially inner side, and these projected portions are capable of being loosely fitted to each other when the movable iron core is drawn to the fixed iron core. The projected portion is formed to be smaller than an opposing surface of the iron core facing an effective magnetic force surface of a distal end of the projected portion and formed in a tapered shape.

CAPACITY CONTROL VALVE

A capacity control valve includes a valve housing provided with a suction fluid supply chamber to which a suction fluid of suction pressure Ps is supplied, and a control fluid supply chamber to which a control fluid of control pressure Pc is supplied, a CS valve formed by a CS valve element driven in the axial direction by a solenoid, and a CS valve seat provided in a communication passage between the control fluid supply chamber and the suction fluid supply chamber, the CS valve being connectable to and separable from the CS valve seat, and a pressure drive portion arranged in the control fluid supply chamber in a sealed manner and biasing the CS valve element in the opposite direction to the driving direction by the solenoid.

CAPACITY CONTROL VALVE

A capacity control valve includes a valve housing provided with a suction port through which a suction fluid of suction pressure Ps passes, and a control port through which a control fluid of control pressure Pc passes, a valve element configured to be driven by a solenoid, a spring that biases the valve element in a direction opposite to a driving direction of the solenoid, and a CS valve formed by a CS valve seat and the valve element, the CS valve being configured for opening and closing a communication between the control port and the suction port in accordance with a movement of the valve element. The capacity control valve further includes communication controller that controls a communication between the control port and a space on a back surface side of the valve element.

Piston compressor

A piston compressor includes a housing, a drive shaft, a fixed swash plate, a plurality of pistons, a movable body, and a control valve. The housing includes a cylinder block having a plurality of cylinder bores and a plurality of first communication passages. The movable body has a second communication passage that intermittently communicates with each of the first communication passages by rotation of the drive shaft. A flow rate of refrigerant discharged from a compression chamber into a discharge chamber changes according to a position of the movable body in a direction of an axis of the drive shaft. The control valve is configured to control a control pressure. The first communication passages are connected to the second communication passage by the movable body and disconnected from the second communication passage by the drive shaft.

CONTROL VALVE AND VARIABLE CAPACITY COMPRESSOR
20200400133 · 2020-12-24 ·

A control valve and a variable capacity compressor which are capable of preventing an unnecessary loss of control gas to improve efficiency of the compressor reduces loss of control gas by eliminating a fixed orifice hole in an existing valve assembly and forming it in a control valve or a passage connecting the control valve and a crank chamber. The size of the fixed orifice hole is variable (which is possible by selectively opening and closing a plurality of holes) depending on the operation of the compressor. On the other hand, forming the fixed orifice hole in the passage connecting the control valve and the crank chamber causes the loss of control gas to be reduced because the fixed orifice hole can be machined to a smaller size compared to an existing orifice hole, the minimum size of which is limited due to difficulty of machining.
