Smart Sound Appliance
A smart sound appliance which has a noise producing device such as a compressor that is controlled by a controller. The controller receives information from a user indicative of whether the user is in a location to receive those sounds. When the user is in the location to receive those sounds, the controller can take an action to reduce those sounds by either turning off the compressor, or reducing the sound of the appliance in some other way.
Pneumatic muffler for desiccant air dryer
A novel design for desiccant air dryer pneumatic mufflers includes a core comprising a perforated inner tube with baffles attached to the outside surface of the inner tube. The inner tube is positioned in the interior of an outer tube, and a cap is positioned on one end of both tubes. The interior portion of the cap is solid so that it blocks the flow of air at the end of the inner tube, forcing the air to flow through the perforations in the inner tube and into the outer tube. The perimeter of the cap is perforated so that the air exits the muffler.
PULSATION DAMPER
A pulsation damper (100) for a condensate pump comprising a body (105) having a fluid inlet (115), a fluid outlet (125), an inner wall portion (107) and an outer wall portion (108), wherein the inner (107) and outer (108) wall portions define an inner fluid region (160) and an outer fluid region (165), wherein the inner fluid region (160) is in fluid communication with the outer fluid region (165), wherein a fluid flow path is formed from the fluid inlet (115) to the fluid outlet (125) via the inner fluid region (160), wherein the outer fluid region (165) is in fluid communication with an air inlet (130) and configured to maintain an air pocket, and wherein the air pocket is configured to dissipate pulsations within liquid entering the fluid inlet (115) prior to being discharged from the fluid outlet (125).
Pneumatic pump silencer, pneumatic pump comprising such a silencer and coating product spraying installation comprising at least one such pneumatic pump
A pneumatic pump silencer including a body defining an inner volume and having at least one wall including an air outlet orifice, and an attenuating pad having a face arranged across from the air outlet orifice, wherein a gap is arranged between the face of the attenuating pad and an outer face of the wall including the air outlet orifice, the thickness of the gap being between 0.5 mm and 5 mm.
Compressor assembly, air supply unit
The disclosure relates to a compressor assembly for an air supply unit of a vehicle. The compressor assembly includes: a compressor for providing pressurized air and having a compressor housing, at least one mounting bracket, wherein the at least one mounting bracket is fixed to the compressor housing, and, for each mounting bracket, one bearing for connecting the compressor assembly to a housing structure of the air supply unit. The bearing includes a flexible, hollow bellow, adapted to receive a gaseous medium, wherein the bellow includes at least one mounting feature, in particular recess, adapted to receive the mounting bracket, and the bellow is adapted to be pneumatically charged from an unpressurized state into a pressurized state, wherein the mounting feature is adapted to mechanically connect the bellow to the mounting bracket in a pressurized state via a positive lock.
ROTARY COMPRESSOR AND HOME APPLIANCE INCLUDING THE SAME
A rotary compressor includes a compression device including a compression space to accommodate a refrigerant introduced through an inlet, and configured to compress the refrigerant and to discharge the refrigerant to an outlet, a driving device to drive the compression device, a flange member to partition an inner portion of the case into a low-pressure region and a high-pressure region, and a muffler member disposed on a surface of the flange member to form a first space to store oil and a second space. The flange member includes a first hole communicating with the second space to allow the low-pressure region to communicate with the compression space, the muffler member includes a second hole which forms part of a refrigerant flow path, and at least one of the flange member and the muffler member includes a third hole which forms part of an oil flow path.
Linear compressor
A linear compressor includes a discharge valve detachably attached to a front end surface of a cylinder to open and close a compression space of the cylinder; and a valve spring elastically supporting a rear surface of the discharge valve to press the discharge valve toward the front end surface of the cylinder. The discharge valve includes reinforced fiber, and the reinforced fiber is arranged parallel to the front end surface of the cylinder. Accordingly, while a rigidity of the discharge valve is improved, a weight of the valve is reduced to enhance responsiveness of the valve, suppress abrasion of the cylinder, and reduce striking sound.
Apparatuses, systems, and methods for improved performance of a pressurized system
A natural gas pumping system that includes six reciprocating compressor cylinders, the reciprocating pistons of the six compressors having cycles offset by 60 degrees one from another.
Method and system for damping flow pulsation
A method of attenuating pressure pulsations, comprises: pumping liquid into a vessel in fluid communication with a flow line by a conduit sealingly passing through a top surface of the vessel, so as to discharge the liquid into the flow line while creating an air-liquid interface in the vessel, by trapping in an upper part of the vessel air that attenuates pressure pulsations caused by the pumping. The method also comprises generating condition for the liquid to drain out of the vessel to allow air to fill at least the upper portion of the vessel.
Sound reduction device for rocking piston pumps and compressors
A rocking piston vacuum pump or compressor may have a sound attenuation assembly. The sound attenuation assembly may comprise a sound attenuation chamber. The chamber may have a first silencer disposed therein with sound dampening foam disposed therein. A second silencer may be disposed in series relative to the first silencer and may be disposed externally of the sound attenuation chamber.
